We chose this restaurant with my wife to have dinner and enjoy our last evening in Croatia. We picked Ostraja Familia because of its high rating, but the experience was a huge disappointment. :( We ordered the Tuna dish, and it was unbelievably salty – so salty that it was impossible to enjoy or even taste the actual food. There was no flavor, no pleasure, just overwhelming SALT. This completely ruined our dinner and spoiled what should have been a beautiful last evening of our trip. A total disappointment! I absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

Ordered beef soup which was great, however the beefsteak was average and the pasta with truffle was full of oil at the bottom of the plate.

I was looking for places in Rijeka for a really great mixed grill and they delivered! The outdoor area was very cute, the food was incredible, and the owner provided the best service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for really good Croatian grilled meat!

The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered Tomina Tagliata, BBQ ribs and roasted veal with potatoes. Veal was soft and full of flavour and tagliata was just straight up amazing in every bite. For dessert we had some cheese cake ice cream and lemon tart. That was also just what you want from a dessert. Overall great experience and we will be coming back.

They don't offer a large menu, but those few dishes are really good 👌. Servings are big, you won't leave with a half full stomach. We had a pork ribs, which had quite a lot of meat on them, and were well done. We also had a burger, which was quite big, with real meat inside instead of a pljeskavica. Prices are ok, not too expensive, not too cheap. Service is also quite good with a nice atmosphere of a local restaurant. It has a small nearby parking area free of charge, but big enough to accommodate all their customers. We will definitely return again to check the rest of the menu.

I read some Google reviews and decided to try the fried calamari. It was really good, no wonder people recommend it. The price is €13 and the portion is huge, definitely enough to share between two people. You can add rice or a salad for an additional €3–4 per person

Fantastic see food with fresh fish, home made pasta and selection of apetizers. Everything we tasted was perfect with a taste of home made meals. Special spring offer of dishes with wild asparagus. Service is very good. Place is crowded on Fridays so better reserve your table.

My husband and I have been traveling different countries for the last 66 days. We came across this resturant by chance, and are we ever lucky we did! We both agreed it was the best meal we have had on our travels so far. Which says alot because we have eaten well. The waiter was such a lovley man. Hello from Vancouver Island! Thank you again!

Awesome experience! Everything served is local, made max 50 km from the place, including beer and beverages :) Highly recommend, you should book in advance because it is hard to get a place during the season.

I ordered a Sesame-Tuna-Steak with mediterran potatoes and it was excellent. The tuna was perfectly medium, the potatoes had a really crispy taste and the sweet soy sauce was veery good!! Also the Service from Mia was an overall great experience - she was very friendly, had an answer to all my questions and also recommended an awesome chocolate cake to me. I would totally recommend eating at the Bistro Na Kantridi !!

The food is good, the portions are okay, the atmosphere is nice, the view is gorgeous, there was a language barrier with the waiters, they did not particularly understanding english, the wait time for the food and the check was awfully long.

It's like an otalian corner in Kastav, with top quality food, service and atmosphere! The ukrainian chief provide very delicios food, like shashlyk, ljulja-kebab etc. You really need to try it!

We come often to the hotel and breakfast is always nice. We took brunch on Sunday which was great. Buffet style with plenty to choose from. Sparkling wine was included in the price. Here are photos of few meals that were very tasty.

I have been staying at the Hilton Rijeka for the past couple of days and have been coming here for the awesome breakfast. I tried to come over for late lunch around 4pm but they are closed from 3pm - 6pm to get ready for dinner. Great views from the restaurant.

An outstanding gastronomic experience and a truly beautiful overall journey in one of the best restaurants in the world. I had the Naša gregada od grdobine, and it was simply perfect, balanced, refined, and deeply expressive of the sea. Every bite showed precision, respect for ingredients, and top-level technique. The ambience is stunning, elegant yet warm, creating the perfect setting for fine dining. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff genuinely kind and professional. Everything about Plavi Podrum feels thoughtful, refined, and memorable. A place you don’t just visit, you experience.

Beautiful sea view, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. There’s plenty of free parking and it’s definitely child-friendly. No reservation needed, at least when we went it wasn't nedeed. The food was excellent, with a rich menu offering healthy options that kids can enjoy too. Service was quick and efficient. Prices are reasonable. It’s also conveniently close to the highway to Zagreb, so you can easily stop on the way without going far from your route.

Excellent seafood especially the fried skate and hake fish. The scampi was awesome. Service was good. Parking on side streets and take a walk. It’s a wholesome locally frequented eatery. A fantastic gem. We finished every dish!

We stopped for lunch on our way to Pula. We were seated immediately even though they were busy. The waiter recommended the prawns for two. We got that and the grilled vegetables. It was all delicious. The broth from the prawns was especially good and I used our bread to soak it up. The seating was a bit cramped, but well worth the very slight discomfort for the food.

I ran into this restaurant by chance and was blown away. Although it is a modern restaurant - pizzeria, they maintain classic and proven quality. We ate pizza and I don't remember the last time I ate something so good. For dessert, I chose gibanica and I'm delighted that it doesn't taste like mass-produced cakes, but like a homemade creation. All praise goes to the waiters. Very friendly and ready to help and find a place that is apparently very difficult to find.

We had an outstanding dinner at Konoba Tramerka. The cod pâté was silky and full of flavour, a perfect start to the meal. The tuna steak was cooked beautifully - tender, perfectly seasoned, and simply melted in the mouth. The pasta with mussels was equally impressive, fresh and rich with the taste of the sea. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with that rustic charm you hope for in a konoba, and the service was friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. A real gem - we’ll definitely be coming back!

The best octopus I’ve eaten in Croatia! The place is very cosy, hidden from the main street, but definitely worth visiting! All the ingredients are fresh – a really great food experience! The service is very nice, 10/10!

Everything was really delicious and so well cooked, you can easily spot the super quality of products here. Also the prices were really cheap in comparison to other places around that we ate. The atmosphere and the dining area reminds you a family table in a village which makes your dinner cozier than what is already. I recommend 100% that place for a meal. The place is located in front of the road so there is no parking space there but a few meters away with some luck you can find parking.
