We were a group of five women for dinner on Saturday, because we had heard only good recommendations and that there was live music. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cheerful. We took three appetizers to share, and then four main courses, also to share. The dishes were a combination of Italian and local cuisine – very tasty, prepared to a high standard, with a rich and varied selection. The staff was attentive and friendly, and a special shout out to our Belma who spoiled us throughout the evening and made our experience even more beautiful. See you again soon!

This place was tucked away inside of a neighborhood. Our last meal out before returning to the states. The food was great. I ordered the Riley medium well. It came with fries, I also ordered what I thiught was a side of mixed vegetables. I received a bowl, they were so good. The wife ordered the steak pasta with black truffles. It looked very good, she was pleased with her meal. We had a bottle of Korlat syrah wine to complement the meal.

A restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I was nicely welcomed by a lovely lady. The food was delicious. And the waitress spoke English, so I breathed a sigh of relief. I travel on business and lunch time is my only moment of respite. Waiters from other places often ask me a lot of unnecessary questions and I feel trapped... In this restaurant it is completely different. The lady is very discreet and sensitive - she knows exactly when we expect "attention". I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves a good recommendation. I highly recommend.

Great place for dry aged steaks lovers :) For those who don’t know, “Bistro Vrapcak & Steakehouse” is known for its great grill, and recently they have become one of the most popular places in Zagreb for lovers of dry aged steaks. They order top quality meat from The M Brothers farm/butcher shop. The steaks are dry aged for 40 days in special chambers. During the ripening process, meat loses water, so dry aged steaks lose up to 40% of their initial weight. This is why Dry Aged steaks are so soft and juicy, but also are more expensive than fresh meat. Regardless of which steak you order, a kilo costs the same. You can also order smaller portions like 300g per person, but I didn’t want people in Vrapcak to think that I am poor :)

The place is beautiful, chandeliers, decor, everything looks very nice. The staff was very welcoming and warm upon arrival and we got our table right away. We ordered, vitello tonato, burrata, minestrone soup followed by slow cooked beef rib, rolled chicken with goat cheese and pistachio and pacheri with truffle sauce and beef. Everything was delicious, big portions and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to come back and try some other delicious food. Highly recommending

I had high hopes when we arrived. The atmosphere is fantastic! Elegant and cozy. The olive oil is out of this world good ( as was the bread to go with it). The service was great and attentive, although our second glasses of wine were poured away from our table… I would have liked to see the bottles. My saltimbocca was dry and tough(!) but they did comp us an aperitif when we told them. The tuna carpaccio was too cold and the rucola was a bit limp. It had been in the fridge awhile. The ladies room had no soap! Overall just a tiny bit disappointing. My husband’s risotto was great. As were his arancini. Stellar service, but the kitchen needs work… so not a complete failure. But not the best either.

Unexpected, more than satisfying experience overall. It did start with a deer carpaccio that was excellent, only burdened with too many add-ons. Shame, because when all of the extras were removed, the meat itself was blissful. However, lamb in Parmesan cheese and with spinach puree was just right. Winevise, if you order by the glass, you can expect a good pour and fresh wine. Also, instead as an aperitif, house made Botanist liquer proved itself even better as a digestive. Cheers!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with smiles, and the atmosphere is somewhat dark and mysterious, adding to the experience. Once the food arrived, it was immediately clear that this is top-tier Japanese cuisine, with flavors that perfectly matched the impeccable presentation. My favorite dish was the pork belly bun, and I will definitely return multiple times. The only minor critique is the music, which currently plays pop from the radio rather than matching the Japanese theme — I hope this is adjusted before my next visit.

We decided to dine at Maredo on a whim, without any particular expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The smoked beefsteak was exceptional—arguably one of the finest in Zagreb. We had a great evening here, my second visit, both on Fridays. The place is clean and stylish, with a menu full of sushi and steak options. Around 10 PM, the music gets louder, creating more of a lounge vibe. The food was very good, we especially enjoyed the steaks and sushi. Parking is easy to find on the same street, and there are several other restaurants and nightclubs nearby.Evenings are more suited for adults, as the lights dim and the music gets quite loud. Afternoons might be better for families with kids.Reservations are a must, and the atmosphere is elegant, so dressing nicely is a good idea. The staff was welcoming, and the menu has some Asian-inspired dishes. There are not many options for vegan, vegetations, kids. There are plenty of wines and coctails to drink. We received separate menu for that. The waiters speak English, and we had a lovely time.

Good location, traditional style interior with enough place inside and not overcrowded, it has own parking which is big plus. I tried pljeskavica and homemade beer, dark one, I can't remember name. Everything was delicious, beer was excellent and tasted really good. Staff and service was quick and professional, no complaints at all. Only downside is price, everything is quite expensive and food portions were quite small. I will give 4 stars.

One of the best asian fusion restaurants I've tried in Croatia so far. The portions are really big and for a very fair price. We had the chicken katsu, kung pao and lobster buns. Everything was amazing but my fave was the katsu. Can't wait to try more things bc I'll be coming back

Tori street food As a food lover, I visit many restaurants with my family. We experience everything from good to bad. Sometimes so bad that we never go back. But today, by chance, because we were driving the wrong way, we came across “Tori Street Food” via Google Maps. Upon arrival and the temperature outside, we thought for a moment that it was not going to work. But the people in front of us were one of the many for the take-away option. What friendliness upon entering. No pushing to order, a display case full of examples of the dishes as they all pass by one by one and whether it is for take-away or direct food, everything is lovingly prepared and released on the counter. What works of art of food are conjured up there in that size kitchen. We were with 5 people and all our orders also came right after each other. A teamwork that performs time and again as if it were the Olympic Games. What a top level. You simply do not have to leave it because of the prices. This is worth every euro and honestly, you get much, much more value for your money here. We will definitely come back here.

Anytime I visit Zagreb, I like to frequent Stari Kotac. The food is absolutely delicious. The cevapcici are the juiciest and tastiest than all other restaurants I tried, especially the cheese enriched ones. For this review I took take-out and it was still great. We recently had our company holiday dinner here. The communication before the dinner in the organization phase was great. The food was very good but, our #1 accolade was the service. Our waiter for the evening, I cannot remember his name so I shall describe him as a very fit and muscular man with dark hair, was absolutely incredible!! Nothing remained on our table empty. Drinks kept flowing and the incredible food came at a great pace. Brenner Grill will be our place for company dinners from now on! 😀

We had lunch there few days ago. It is so close to the road but there is no noise from it.. terrace is full of trees and beautifully decorated. Inside also amazing decoration, the whole place is decorated with style. The waiter was super polite but not intrusive. He gave us recommendations about the food and asked us a few times if everything was all right, he was just great. Food was delicious, portions are humongous. We will definitely come here again.

It was our first time here after we watched and read many reviews on this restaurant. Our expectations were very big. Food was ok. I can not say it was amazing or something special. We enjoyed it but can't say I would come here again because of the food. The interior was great. Very cosy and I loved it. Staff was very polite and nice. And now the prices. Prices are very correct and ok. Not too expensive. I would even say normal prices for the food we ordered.

Delicious food! Amazing! Best for mixed grill, but also fried calamari are very good and the portions are big. The fries are one of the best, and the lepinja bread goes very well with the food. The place is very busy during lunch time, so it is advised to have a reservation!

LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE Location is next to the main road, atmosphere is cozy and warm, a typical place to eat and go. SERVICE Great, professional, friendly. We got a nice recommendation for the meal. PRICE One of the rare places with good prices. While everyone increased their prices, here you can still eat a meal from 6.5€ which is amazing. FOOD Our meal was great, quite delicious. Also, cabbage salad was seasoned well and homade bread was very good. OVERALL 5 stars for this place, everything is great and I really recommend it to everyone. It is a must!
