For Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant, attracted by the beautifully decorated space and numerous sponsored posts on social media. The ambiance is really pleasant - the evening was accompanied by jazz music, the atmosphere was intimate and private, which created a nice atmosphere for a special occasion.
Unfortunately, the impression of the food did not match the good ambiance. There were set menus on offer (fish, meat (and we opted for fish. The final bill was €160, which was an additional disappointment considering the quality.
The appetizer had a very neutral taste, without spices, with rather large pieces of cuttlefish that were difficult to enjoy. The main course – swordfish – was dry and without a pronounced taste, served with a few pieces of carrot, without the impression of a rounded or well-thought-out combination. The dessert seemed like a store-bought cake, without the special taste or final impression that you would expect for an evening like this.
Given the price and the impression created through the promotion, expectations were significantly higher. The space is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the quality of the food, at least in our case, did not justify the price.
I am writing this review to give a realistic picture of the experience, because I believe that with this kind of marketing it is important for guests to know what to expect.
