The food was really good, tasty, and served within 20–25 minutes, which was great. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The waiter forgot parts of our order multiple times, rarely came to check on us, and their attitude was quite indifferent. When paying, we were even charged for items we did not order, and one dish was billed twice, something we only realized afterwards(+20€ for nothing), also we had the leftover food packaged for takeaway, which we never received. The place is also not tourist-friendly, the staff doesn’t speak English (which in itself is understandable), but they didn’t even try to be helpful.

I came here for lunch as a detour travelling out of Rijeka. This place was a great find. Their food was cooked on a woodfire grill and it was excellent. The meat platter for 2 was as good as any I've had in Croatia and better than most. Their bread was amazing as well. Very fairly priced. Absolutely worth making a short trip out of Rijeka, or detour, to grab a meal here.

Could Be A Lot Better at Aerosteak We recently dined at Aerosteak and tried their Aerosteak platter. While the pork fillet was well-prepared and quite enjoyable, the rest of the meat was tough and lacked flavor, which was disappointing. The potatoes also didn’t impress—they were unpeeled and looked like they had been boiled first, then baked, which affected the texture. It wasn’t a terrible meal, but it definitely could have been better. Additionally, we noticed that the prices in the restaurant were a lot higher than from what was listed on their online menu!

I living nearby so few times a month I visit Amel and always take desetka cevapcici and they are very tasty. Lepinja (bread) is good. Prices are reasanoble, Waitresses are fast and kind. There are few minuses as well: 1) Nearby free parking for Amel guests are usually full so I park on nearby gas station 3 minutes walk away 2) There is no open terrace 3) Amel is off limit for dogs I can recommend Amel for tasty grill food (other food I did not tasted), clean and tidy place and fast and friendly service.

Passing through the area, we stopped here for a quick bite to eat. My companion ordered a margarita, I went for “bečki odrezak” - a veal schnitzel, which came with nothing apart from some homemade “sauces”, basically cream cheese with either garlic, onion, olives; you get the idea. The pizza was passable, the rocket on the side definitely not, as it was well past its sell-by-date and wilted. My schnitzel turned out to be two thickish lumps of meat, dipped in “panko” breadcrumbs and fried to buggery. Greasy, tough, ridiculous. The mixed season salad contained white cabbage and lettuce, as well as tinned corn. It was not good. The waitress was well-meaning. We won’t be coming back.

Absolutely perfect place! We've ordered "Mala Plata" for 2 people, it's more known under "Mjesano meso" (mixed meat) in Croatia, and it was really big portion! The meat was prepared perfectly! The service was fast, waitress was very kind. Price for this big plate was only 25€, but it's more like for 3 ppl than 2 :) I can compare it to others restaurants we've been in, where just one portion of grilled chicken meat with pommes frites was about 13-15€, and mješano meso (1/3 size of this) was about 16-17€, so this place is also very cheap considering size of the meal. We were little afraid, if there will be some terrace, to sit outside, because photos here on reviews are showing just some house, but it has really big and nice terrace from main road's side. I don't have anything negative to say.
