We wanted to have lunch at a nearby restaurant that was quite popular, but there were no free tables there, so they directed us to the Javor restaurant, so we came to Javor quite by accident and it was our first time there. There is a decent parking lot in front of the restaurant, so it was no problem finding a parking space right near the entrance. When we arrived there were free tables so we didn't have to wait to be seated. The waiter came quickly and took our order, recommending a few dishes. We didn't wait long for our food and it was warm and cozy inside so it wouldn't have been a problem if we had had to wait longer. The mushroom soup was perfect, full of flavor. We ate several different dishes later, each of which was delicious and the portions were generous. The music was at a moderate volume so that it did not interfere with the conversation and one could talk undisturbed. The prices are also fair, there were four of us, each of us had soup, a main course and a drink, the bill was less than €20 per person. I can recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely an amazing experience. The staff was joyful and welcoming. I am from the United States and was visiting family and they took me here. We had an amazing meal, and I felt more welcome here than anywhere I’ve been in Europe so far. The wonderful couple who ran the place brought us shots of their house made grappa when they heard us talking in English. We had a great conversation and they were one of the best parts of my trip. A must visit place if you want to eat local food and have a great conversation with locals, if you don’t speak Croatian.

We were visiting Gospić for a week and ate there one evening. We called in advance to reserve a table based on the reviews. We received a very nice welcome on site, and the overall service here was just right. "Our" waiter gave us good advice on what to choose (he spoke very good English) and recommended a dessert at the end (we were so full, but the pancakes were worth it). Overall, the food tasted really good and the portions were generous - especially the cevapcici. Price-performance absolutely top. We didn't make it back, otherwise we would have come back for dinner before we left Gospić.

A great place to have a quick and delicious lunch while traveling. The food is homemade, local and autochthonous, portions are huge. The prices are reasonable and the service is mostly fast - it depends on how full the restaurant is. We will be back for more.

I'm pretty much disappointed because a lot of people were saying it's a great place to eat. I was there with my friends few days ago and we couldn't even order pancakes after we ate burgers which weren't as good as you would assume by how much they cost. Place is overrated. Gospic has better places to eat than Bistro Fratelli 👍

Top service and really good looking and even more tasty food for an amount of money that you won't find anywhere near. It has a genuine local feel and in my experience the look of the restaurant doesn't mean it's food is good and this is the best example. It's also on the way to Nikola Tesla memorial centre so it's on the way. Couldn't recommend this place more!

The food was good and plentyfull, and I can’t say the same about the service. It was unfortunately minimal. The waitress was not welcoming, more annoyed with our arrival than anything especially after she saw we had a small dog with us. She clearly demonstrated she hates dogs which I found strange as at least she should have kept her preferences to herself at her work place. She has never come to check if the food was ok and drove away before we finished our lunch without checking on us and saying good-buy. Only to add that later we discovered a resident dog there who attacked and wondered our dog on our departure. Shouldn’t the owner be keeping her territorial dog away from the customers? Well, we won’t be coming back. But again, the food was ok.

Unusual experience. You do not expect great food in a parking place, but it was. Also, a surprise was that, for the price of a meal you get a soup and a salad. What looked a pricey lunch turned out to be quiet affordable. The only 'bad' thing was an atmosphere. I guess this is not a classic restaurant, but nice music channel on TV would help. 🙂

A fantastic place! The coffee is delicious, and the food is absolutely tasty — with very generous portions. Really big portions! Everything is very flavorful and satisfying. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything is spotlessly clean and very cozy. The air conditioning works perfectly. There is seating both indoors and outdoors. Free restrooms are available. The staff is always smiling and very attentive, and they go out of their way to accommodate tourists who may not speak the local language. Overall, we highly recommend this place — it’s a truly wonderful spot!

Reading the latest reviews (not sure what happened there)...I had to put my own. The restaurant itself is really charming when we were there there was only another table of 2. The server was welcoming, friendly and helpful (gave us information about the area etc). The food was also delicious (cevapcici HUGE!!, lika pleskavitza and a side salad (*****). The local beer also very nice. I can only speak positive things about the resaturant! IMPORTANT..cash only!

Very delicious food and really great service. They produce most ingedients on their own farm or source it from local producers. We had a lovely experience and definitely can recommend this restaurant. Cosy place by the main road. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes with salad (soup and veal meat main dishes). Believe me it is an understatement when I say that dish portions are huge. Friendly staff and nice location with huge parking and more than enough tables. Also they have rooms for rent in the back.

It's not a restaurant that stands out in terms of appearance, but here you will try the best pancakes of your life, they are so good, and did I mention the fantastic pizza? All in all, a warm recommendation for the BRIKS restaurant, you won't go wrong, it's pleasant.

OK i just gave all three five stars. But its not. Its does not look so good, te service is standard and the working hours for pizza are horrific. Only working saturdays and sundays. BUT. The Pizza by Gods its hevenly! I mean the best Pizza in Lika-senj county. "Ruspante" has good and interesting pizza. But "Briks" has made simplicity into perfection. Im a livid Pizza lover and i cant find any fault. The crust, the tomato sauce and the toppings its such a simphony of simplicity and perfection I just cant get enough. If you are Free on a Saturday or Sundays and are near Gospić dont miss the chance to try the best Pizza in town or in the county for that matter. The review for the pizza alone is a 100/10 because you just need to try it.
