This place is just amazing. the portions are HUGEEE we asked for a 2 person plate its at least for 3 person or 4 and we had a separate dish where the meat was the size of the whole plate and its not just big but tasty as well. the service was also very nice and they are dog friendly! really appreciate this place and would 100% recommend it. fast, kind and lovely place.

I've been here in August 2024. Service and food were great! Would've gone there for another dinner, but there sadly was a marriage celebrated in the restaurant on that day, as the waiter friendly told me when I asked about the table for the next day :)

Very cozy place with a sea view! Come here to relax and enjoy the sunset. Stuff was very attentive and friendly. The food was fine but too much salty for me, that’s why I rate it 4 from 5. Seabass with vegetables- 20 euros.

Awesome squid salad, comes with toasty and fresh warm bread as well. Ordered some tea, was quite pleased, impressed. Workers are kind and can recommend a lot of things, also some places to visit if you want to.

Great place to dine. The food is great! My favourite was the octopus salad. My son loved the fish soup. Staff is friendly. The only thing is that they are a bit slow to serve the food, we had to wait quite a while, but once you get your food, it makes it worth the wait.

Cozy place with authentic local vibes and really fresh food. The spinach with potatoes and garlic was amazing — simple, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Amazing food. I had the tuna steak with grilled vegetables with some focaccia and a glass of malvaziya. The tuna was done medium rare. It was perfectly seasoned and with a nice crust. The grilled vegetables were perfect as well. The bread was very fresh. I'd highly recommend a visit. It is not far from Trsat Castle. Just about 500m down the road.

This place is quiet has a very nice Spanish atmosphere. They serve Prosciutto here in black and white pig leg. The bar is where I usually sit and I have a good time. The owner is a nice guy and people here speak English so I would recommend it to anyone visiting. The Prosciutto is served with bread and sometimes the owner will take shots with you. Fridays is when the whole place is packed with people so you might wanna make a reservation on that day unless you're alone

It was full outside, so we had to sit inside which was a good alternative, but kind of lame on a beautiful day. The pizzas were great, there were lots of options to choose from. The menu is abundant. What was great advantage was that it worked on Sunday and was one of rare options to have lunch when other restaurants were closed.

The food was really good and we enjoyed it immensely. We did have to wait quite a while, which led to us not being able to finish eating because we were on a timeline. I definitely recommend the pumpkin soup - delish! The place is cute and cozy inside.

This quaint family-owned restaurant sits right above Kostrena Beach and the food was absolutely amazing. Coming straight from the Mediterranean Sea the food was fresh and delicious. The service was great and the scenic ocean views were beautiful. Would definitely come back to this place. Thank you to the owner for making us feel so welcome. Her two sons were also very helpful and super sweet in prepping the restaurant.

The staff is adaptible, polite and professional and the restaurant is easily accessible along with a private parking for guests. 10/10 P.S. they have waiters that are a bit older which usually means that the restaurant is paying them adequately as well. For main dish we had ravioli filled with cheese and prosciutto and green butter sauce and I had pork in breadcrumbs with fried vegetables and young fried potato. All in all, polite and professional staff, accessible and well maintained restaurant along with fantastic tasty dishes made with fresh local ingredients (I can tell the difference). When you take into the account that they are well affordable (some would say cheap) I believe it would be a tragedy if you visited Rijeka and didn't try to dine at least once in this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Never had a "steak" like this in my life. It's supposed to be medium, it's supposed to be a steak, the potatoes are supposed to be grilled, and the sauce it's supposed to be truffle sauce but it seems to be some kind of mushroom sauce with truffle "smell". My wife got the pasta with kalf, but probably it's a 20 years old kalf, pasta seems to be frozen and sauce tasteless. Salad was told to be with potatoes and ofc it wasn't, as well as all meat was chewy. Please never come here unless everything else is closed and you're starving. PS: the waitresses didn't know anything about the dishes, so it was hard to decide something, but amyways, Just don't come...

The meat platter is quantitatively okay, but I have never eaten such tasteless food. The vegetables and potatoes are full of oil, the meat has no flavor, it’s unsalted, even the ajvar is tasteless. The same goes for the stuffed pork chop. No flavor, unseasoned, the potatoes are neither boiled nor baked, full of oil and without taste.

A restaurant outside the center or village and almost always full of people. A terrace with a beautiful view of the bay of Bakar, where dogs are allowed, which is a big plus. The food on the menu is good with not high prices, and daily brunches are definitely recommended.

some of the best cooked fish i’ve had in my life. prepared quite simply to let the ingredients shine. after driving all day we came at an odd time and so we were one of two tables. we sat outside and the ambiance might not appeal to some but i liked being on the quieter street by the fish market. i never care about good service because i think the food speaks louder but i would be remiss not to mention the very charming server who was excited to chat about hockey with a foreigner. he recommended all our food and even though the combination was odd to our palates (potatoes two different ways as sides) we thought it was such a charming and simple dinner. the wine pairing with the fish was lovely. since we didn’t have much say in the order we were expecting he picked a pricier cut of fish (especially because it tasted so good) so it was quite a pleasant surprise when the cheque came and we realized he picked a modestly price, fresh fish for us. overall great experience. on a 4 week road trip through so many different cities, this is the only restaurant i would want to go back to.

AMAZING PIZZAS!! The menu is different now from what was before (forgot to take a pic 😭) but it was really good. My husband got the white sauce pizza with pistachios and i got red sauce that’s a bit on the spicy side. It had baby peppers that were just oozing with flavor. Never had that before and it’s so gooood! Dogs are allowed and highchair for baby is available ☺️ Only downside was that we were served not so cold beer but we were able to get ice for them. ❤️
