Food was delicious, service was great, staff was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our meal. We had tomato soup, salad and plate for two for dinner. That plate was definitely enough more than two people, fyi😀 We were so hungry yet we couldn’t eat the whole plate. We had tea on the terrace afterwards. We enjoyed our time there and the atmosphere was nice too.

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and food specific to Zagorje. While food was delicious, some improvements could be made - duck breast skin was gummy and cooked instead of crispy and red wine sauce was cold. Pork and pumpkin gnocchi were fantastic.

Nice and cozy inn with good local food. We tried the famous strukli soup and their local traditional lasagna. The soup was very delicious and definitely the highlight of the lunch. We also tried their homemade rakijas which were very tasty and strong. The staff was friendly and nice. The service was great. Portions are decently sized. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

It says that they are open until 10pm, but they dont work after 9pm. Me and my family of 6 drove 10miles to eat and came home starving. Disapointing!!!! 😤😡

We didn't know anything about the restaurant but we were surprised at how great the food was! We had a "daily menu" (a nice soup followed by a tasty veal medallions in a mushroom sauce with homemade gnocchi and a cheescake) and an absolutely incredible mushroom soup. Prices are great, and the woman working there was very nice and friendly, treating us like we were welcomed regulars. We plan to visit again and try the homemade štrukli and štrukli soup. Definitely check it out when in the vicinity.

Delicious Croatian food - large portions and fair prices. The strukli soup was amazing.. the meat platter for one was very filling.. and their sausages and sauerkraut were delicious. Highly recommended for a great meal!

Very good choice for a weekend visit to Zagorje. The food was obviously local, well prepared and tasty. All meat and potatoes (plus salad) were quite nice. Vegetarian meal was also very good. The best part (at least for me) were the excellent baked štrukli (local homemade pastry filled with farm cheese and baked in oven, covered with cream and egg mixture; said to be the most famous dish in those parts). All in all - nice!

The location is absolutely beautiful, both in summer and in winter when everything is covered in snow. The food is delicious, and a must-try is anything from the baker’s stove AKA ‘krušne peći’, as well as the braised beef cheeks with wine sauce and gnocchi—both are outstanding. To finish your meal, you have to try the pumpkin seel oil ice cream and the pancakes with walnuts and wine chateau. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable, which makes the whole experience even better.

I was in the restaurant. I am originally Zagorka and i know what good mlinci and purica and strukli are. I really don’t get all the negative comments. The service was polite, dishes came fast. All was very tasty and I met the owner and her husband. Very normal people. We will come back.

If you want a great and hardy meal, this is a place for you. It's one of those restaurants that does not wow you with their looks. But when they bring out the food you are amazed. The staff, is really courteous and helpful. If you are going to or from Zagreb to Slovenia (macelj border crossing) you should stop in Durmanec in this restaurant. You won't regret it.

Nothing special. Slow. Mistake with the orders. Wrong pizza at our table. Broken bottle...not dealt with at all. They didn't have ingredients that they needed for our pizza. I was disappointed. I tight they would give us some discount at the end, they didn't. I walked out disappointed.
