It’s a really friendly, cosy place with good food. We tried mussel, sea bass and the meat plate and all of them were tasty. The waiter was really kind and helpful, too.

My Partner bought Grilled Tuna, it was amazing. I ordered Grilled Shark, it was just okay. Food does not come with Fries, has to be ordered separately. Good quality food overall. You can pay with card. Restaurant has nice climate, and its not too expensive.

Small restaurant located a bit outside of the main beach area. The food was great (we had Meat platter for one person, which would be good enough for two people for sure), the service was good and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The only downside (for a tourist) is probably the location since you don’t get to see the sea/beach and it’s not exactly the historical area either. Other than that it’s a great place :)

I had been searching for the best restaurant in Pakoštane for a special occasion and I choose Konoba Grgo based on reviews and their special dish "octopus under a baking lid", which needs to be ordered a day in advance. I was lucky and I managed to order it just 8h before the dinner. The dish was delicious, service friendly and value for money fantastic. Therefore, I highly recommend Konoba Grgo. You will be positively surprised.

Amazing little place. Initially we only planned a coffee but our server Ana suggested we try a light lunch. So of to shrimps we go. Fresh shirp is locally caught and its was delicious. From sitting down to being served in about 20 mins. Excellent service and super nice server to excellent tasting food. Highly recommended! Will definetely visit again.

This restaurant is a MUST-GO, if you love a proper steak! We were a party of 4 and ordered two starters: beef carpaccio (amazing) and an octopus salad. They prepare octopus in an upside-down martini glass with a special sauce with lemon. Carpaccio was delicious with a hint of sweet vinaigrette sauce. For the main course we had ribeye steaks and fish. The steaks were so tender they melted in your mouth. They serve them with caramelized onions and sauce with 8 herbs that grow in their garden. Dessert was also good (we ordered “drunk signorina”). Our waiter was very professional and knowledgable (a young man). Everything was perfect except the loud music from the bar next door.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is very beautifully designed there. The service was very friendly and the food came relatively quickly. The fried potatoes were a bit too oily but still very tasty. The steak was also very good. I even went a 2nd time there but unfortunately the whole floor was then full of water because it had rained heavily and therefore the shoes were wet. Still worth a recommendation.👍🏻When I am in the area I look forward to another visit to kokonoba.😋

Very nice place, kind owners. We came with a camper car and basenji dog. There is a lot of space, the possibility of swimming in fresh water in the morning (the water is warm even in early June). Friendly local dogs 😁👍 It is possible to eat here (only cash) or drink their homemade wine.

Great place to stay in nature at lake side, you'll feel there warmly welcomed. Friendly owner rounds out an awesome experience. Highly recommended! 😊 Hot water in showers was available only for a limited time (until depleted), but that's only a cosmetic thing to improve. 5* without any hesitation.

We had a fantastic afternoon here- we ate the best seafood we have eaten on the seaside to date. Mario was an excellent host! Highly recommend ❤️🐠🦐🐙🤩🤩🤩 EDIT- I was made to do this review before we got our bill.. not surprising as he had over charged us for fish thinking we were stupid. And we were .. for eating here! € 200 for 2 small fish .. he neither showed us the fish or explained the prices. Extremely unprofessional. He obviously thought we could ‘afford’ it coming from ‘Australia ‘. This type of Croatian hospitality makes me sick. And we ARE Croatians ! Eat with caution and ask the price of EVERYTHING. Or avoid all together is my recommendation 💯 SRAMOTA !

We recently ate here and were shocked. We paid 85 € for a fishplate that was recommended to us! As shown in the picture, it consisted of one sea bream, two octopus, and a pair of fried calamari. What the waiter failed to tell us was that the sea bream alone costs 45 € and that the other items are also charged separately as individual dishes. Neither the portion size nor the quality of the food justifies the price. We are shocked.

The restaurant is about 20 meters away from the sea, so it’s perfect for eat some food when you’re on the beach. The food is really good, you have the choice of several Italian foods like Pizza and Pasta. The waiters are friendly and polite. Our food came quick and it was tasty as usual.

Overall a nice place, and the food was decent. However, there were several downsides: First, although spaghetti carbonara was listed on the menu, we were told it wasn’t available. Also, the seafood pizza had barely any seafood on it — just a few tiny pieces, and almost no calamari. Second, the music was uncomfortably loud. And most importantly — they don’t accept card payments, which is not mentioned anywhere. My partner had to drive to a neighboring town to withdraw cash, which was a very unpleasant surprise — especially since we were on our way to the airport and didn’t have time to spare.

If you're anywhere near the coast, do yourself a favor and visit Lanterna Backov. The food here is absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Place has really delicious fish! It's on the sea shore so it has stunning sea view! But... They are going to promise one thing then charge you differently! I ordered *happy hour meal* with fish + side dish + drink (a glass of beer) but at the end was billed full price! When asked, they gave me lame excuse. ALSO! NO CARD PAYMENT! they won't warn you upfront so don't be surprised when they ask for a cash when bill comes! They should have told that upfront or at least have some sign.
