What a great new reetaurant for the newly renovated Poreč Marina! They have one of the best Neopolitan style pizzas around and offer unique dishes that you don’t often see at the more traditional restaurants. The view to the marina and the old town is stunning! Service is great, fast, & friendly! They also have price points for those on a budget as well as those looking for fine dining. Lots of affordable menu items as well as higher priced options like steak and fresh whole fish. Octopus and pasta dishes were excellent. Highly recommend the Pizzas!

On August 4, 2025, we ate here with 13 friends. The food tasted great. But ordering food and drinks took a very long time. Sometimes we waited up to 20 minutes for our drinks. There were also a lot of mistakes and drinks were missing. After waiting for 1.5 hours, we finally got our food. Once we had finished eating, we wanted to pay and leave. So we asked the waitress for the bill and received it. We glanced over the prices a little too quickly and paid the bill. But after paying, we took another good look at the bill and saw that, for example, a carpaccio starter was charged at €26. Several bottles of wine had also been charged instead of glasses. We went to the waitress with this, but for some reason, they couldn't refund the amount we had paid! The only option was to pay the correct amount and they would refund the difference later. But this could take 2-3 days because the bank was closed. However, we were going home the next day. To make up for it, they gave us three shots per person, which we didn't really want... Now, three months later, we still haven't gotten our money back and haven't heard anything from this restaurant! In short: we overpaid twice and didn't get our money back! We paid a total of €869 extra! So be careful if you eat here, check your receipt! But I would recommend not going here at all! It's a shame that our vacation had to end this way!

We ate here based on the many positive reviews. The food was certainly not bad, but considering the price, there were quite a few things to remark on. The waiter was attentive at first, but as the evening went on, we saw less and less of him. You would expect that after serving each course, he would briefly check whether everything is alright — not only when it’s already clear that you’ve finished eating. My husband had the scampi cocktail; unfortunately, it was mostly cocktail sauce and lettuce, with at best half a scampi cut into four pieces. Our complaint about this was not taken seriously. The shared seafood platter we had afterwards felt rather carelessly prepared. The dish was described as being served with garnish, but this turned out to be just a local spinach-and-potato dish that was full of sand. Nothing else. The prawns were not very fresh and partly burnt. On top of that, the intestinal tract had not been removed, which is something you may reasonably expect at this price point. The squid was also full of sand. The fish itself was very tasty, but at the very least we should have been asked whether we wanted it filleted. The wine was good and very reasonably priced. But overall, we left with a somewhat uncared-for feeling. The small farewell bottle of liquor was appreciated, but I would have preferred simply having a good meal for the amount we paid.

Although not perfect, this restaurant is head and shoulder above other places in Poreč, in terms of the quality of the food. Their service is also exceptional. Mr. Nikola, the owner of the restaurant, would personally greet every guest during their stay, which is quite unusual and impressive. They have a daily special menu for both lunch and dinner. The lunch consists of three course and costs about 14 euro. The dinner has 4 courses and price is about 20 euro. I had the opportunity to try both, and I must say they offer exceptional value given the quality of the food, plus the excellent service. The calamari is my favorite - it is both fresh and delicious. I am however less impressed with the grilled fish. Somehow it tasted bland, and less tender, compared to the grilled fish I had last night at another local restaurant nearby.

First of all, absolutely amazing food! The staff is incredibly friendly and big thanks to George who was our waiter both times we went. They have a spicy olive oil that is made in house that must be tried, incredible. Great location, great decor and we highly recommend! We will be back next time in Porec!

We visited Ox Food & Fire several times during our vacation, and each time we were amazed by the outstanding quality of the food. The dishes were consistently delicious, even above our expectations, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. As Dutch visitors speaking English, we never felt out of place — everything went smoothly. This restaurant quickly became one of our highlights in Poreč, and we can’t wait to come back on our next trip! On the last day of our vacation, we ordered the monster burger, which truly lives up to its name. We were greeted with a handshake from the very friendly waiter who served us almost every time. We'll definitely be back next vacation!

Probably the best restaurant in town, at least if you're a meat lover! The restaurant itself is nicely arranged and there's a backyard terrace if you want some privacy/peace & quiet. The chef definitely knows what a medium rare means, so that's a huge plus! Offering of different cuts is awesome but the quality could be better though. Deespite that, for the price, it's more then adequate. There's a good offering of sides too. And to top it off, the staff and the service is awesome! A very polite team that really make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you arrive, and the owner is helping out too! All in all, went there few times, every time was a treat and will definitely come back! My go-to place when visiting Poreč. Thanks to Egon and the team! Cheers
