Our Hotel hostess suggested this restaurant and I must say that I am beyond impressed. The food was stellar, the drinks yummy, and the service was top tier. Definitely beyond expectations. We ordered stuffed pork and traditional stuffed beef. Both are quite tasty and authentic. The restaurant is full of local peoples but the owner's are very nice with the tourists and proud of his cuisines. Love it. Ps, you better call in advance to book a place.

The linguine with adriatic mussels were incredible, cooked to perfection and all the pasta here is homemade! The mussels were fresh and tasted amazing, the sauce was light with a hint of parsley which was perfect. The atmosphere right by the coast with the water and palm trees was amazing too, a truly amazing restaurant that also cares about their ingredients and vibes. The food came fairly fast (20mins max) and the service was on point. Definitely recommend!

The food was incredible! Atmosphere was great and the cocktails were wonderful too. The line was long but went decently quick, and we’re so happy we waited. The truffle shrimp macaroni was delicious, and the garlic bread with olive oil and balsamic was amazing. Wish we were in town longer, we would’ve eaten here multiple times!

Wonderful experience. My wife and I had Octopus salad and Blue Crab salad for starters. Both meals were delightful! We shared Zeus Faber (John Dory) for main course and it was probably one of the best prepared fishes I ever had. For dessert, we had a scoop of ice cream with Olive oil, pumpkin seeds and some nuts. It was amazing. On top of the entire dinner our waiter was proffessional, yet so helpful and friendly. If you choose to eat at this establishment you will bot be dissapointed.

Lovely meal here, while staying in the hotel. It's a sophisticated place, but we wanted something simple after a very long day travelling. We enjoyed a light fish soup to start, and then the black cuttlefish risotto and the beef ragu. All the dishes were excellent, and accompanied by some fresh bread with good olive oil, balsamic vinegar and sea salt. The waitress deserves a special mention, as she took the time to explain all the food to us, and checked in regularly. Made for a relaxing evening after a busy day!

Restaurant Krug in Split, a truly outstanding experience One of the best, if not the best restaurant in Croatia. The space is minimalist yet perfectly styled, every detail feels intentional. I feel bad giving a 4-star review, because 7 out of the 9 dishes were amazing — some more than others, but all truly impressive. Unfortunately, the two mains (cod and the steak) were just far too salty. So salty, in fact, that I couldn’t taste anything else, which was a real shame considering the ingredients were clearly of the highest quality. I appreciate all sorts of combinations when it comes to food, but I firmly believe that the ingredients should speak for themselves, and not the seasoning. Appetizers were out of this world. I would skip the wine pairing — at €90 for 4 glasses, it simply isn’t justifiable. On the other hand, the non-alcoholic pairing was fantastic. The atmosphere and staff were wonderful — I’d describe it as “France meets Japan” when ti comes to the design of the restaurant, and the vibe was unpretentious (which we really appreciate). Plating and presentation were spectacular — a true 10/10. Had the two mains not been so overly salted, it would have been a perfect 9-course meal. It’s more than just dinner — it’s a full experience, and we had a beautiful time overall. I do highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved this place. Authentic and tasty Croatian dishes and their menu has a variety of options. We ordered their lunch special (10am-5pm) which was Sarma only for €10. We came back here twice for it, it’s a must try for a traditional Croatian dish. The service was excellent, and the servers are kind. I would also say it’s affordable for the portion and quality (although it can be pricey for dishes like pašticada).

Very traditional spot to have a nice Croatian meal, served by Croatian staff, in a lovely Croatian environment. The service is good and efficient, and food is a finger-licking experience. We always order the octopus, which is outside from the menu and needs to be booked in advance. Desserts are also great and big portions.

Excellent food and service. The food was well presented and it was very filling, delicious and fresh! Wished we found it sooner in our visit in Split cause we would definitely have went again. It was a nice atmosphere with seating outside and inside. Would recommend! It was also reasonably priced - we had 2 mains, extra side of fries, water and a cocktail for €31 (not including a tip!). Just amazing!

Visited here twice this summer. This is the first Turkish style restaurant in Split and it’s done well. The decor is cosy lots of space and they even have the traditional Turkish copper grill out the back. As a partner of a Turk I have a lot of love for Turkish food and enjoyed my dinner here. Is it the most authentic Turkish? No, but it’s a great start! Both times I tried the Adana kebab and the doner kebab. Both are huge meals, good price value and very tasty. The meat is very well seasoned and comes with lots of sides, salads, cacik, bulgur and fries. The staff are all very friendly, quick service and can pay by cash or card easy. They also all speak perfect English as a bonus. What I would love to see on the menu is some dolma (stuffed vine leaves), Turkish tea, ayran, maybe some Turkish desserts like kunefe and a Turkish mix grill 😉 everyone’s favourites. So I’ll keep visiting and supporting and am excited to see this business grow and provide more amazing Turkish food in Croatia.

Loved this place by the river. Pizza is pretty big so my sister and I really didn't need a pizza each! Desserts looked delicious so will have to make another visit before we leave so that we can try those. Was pretty cheap, about 10€ a pizza and 3€ for beer or cider.

There was no space in the garden, so we sat inside. We went without a reservation. We ordered shrimp pasta and mussels. Both were delicious. The mussels are sold by the kilogram, so you can order as many as you want. We ordered half a liter of their house white wine. It was very good. When we paid the bill, the waiter who served us offered us a shot each and had one himself. He was very sweet😊 It is a shame that a place like this is not right on the waterfront. But across from the restaurant, there's a terrace-style wine and cocktail bar right on the water. You will not find it online. The ambiance and view are beautiful. Be sure to sit down for a drink afterward. But no one specifically attends to this space. A waiter from the restaurant comes over occasionally to check on things. That's why we had to wait quite a while to place our order.

We really enjoyed our stay in Stobreč – a quiet area with a relaxed vibe. Pluses: Great location: just a 2-minute walk from the beautiful Stobreč Jug beach. Everything you need is nearby – terraces, a convenient market, and a very good bakery just around the corner. Easy access to the Old Town of Split: only 15 minutes by Uber for about €9. Comfortable bed and good overall cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff – they assisted us with the luggage and made check-in possible even at 10 PM. Minor downsides: Although the rooms were clean, they felt a bit dated. With some updates – such as replacing the carpets and a few small improvements – the space could look much fresher and more inviting.

Hidden gem in Split! The food is down-to-earth delicious. We tried the pašticada — the meat was incredibly tender, and the gnocchi had that perfect QQ bite, almost like boba in milk tea. We also had grilled monkfish (grdobina pršutom i prilog). The texture of the monkfish was so unique and tasty, it really brightened up our meal. Definitely worth a visit! As for the service — if you’re expecting fine dining, this might not be for you. The staff are quick, focused, and just get the job done. Personally, I think that’s another type of charm of this place.

Great spot, had it recommended on a tour. You MUST book a reservation to get in or get lucky. The zuchinni, shimp gnocci was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. We just ordered a few dishes and Split (pun intended) and with all things here the portions are great sizes. Nice atmosphere and good service, don't forget to tip, they will remind you at the end. Great time we had and an attentive server that gave us some good choices to pick from

This is a great restaurant with very helpful and attentive wait staff. The patio is not too cramped, good space between tables. The interior has a lot of seating, also. The menu is a nice selection and the food quality and temperature are always premium, both of which are so appreciated. We shared crispy fries. I ordered grilled veal with mushrooms one time, 3 of us shared a mixed grill last year, tried pasta with meat sauce and salad a different visit, and we are likely going back this week to try their seafood!
