We had brunch. Unfortunately, there wasn't a "Mimosa" a classic drink for that time of day, but the experience was still good. The atmosphere is beautiful and pleasant. The menu options were delicious, and the service was attentive.

First time here, wanted to see what the place looks like more than the food. It has been decorated really well, with so many memorabilia from the World Cup in Russia and Qatar, including the medals from Croatian national team. There is even a small shop where you can buy anything from wine cheese salamy to football items. On the other hand culinary part was also great, food is really good and prices are normal. Service was excellent, mostly young waiters but very professional. If you are into football definitively must visit this restaurant.

The cold starter was great, and the bread was really nice. However, I didn’t enjoy the štrukli. It’s supposed to be a traditional Croatian dish, and since it was my first time trying it, I can’t really judge its overall quality—but unfortunately, it had no flavor at all. For the main course, we tried a type of fish with vegetables as well as pork. Both were okay, but honestly quite forgettable and a bit overpriced, especially since the meat was slightly burnt. On the positive side, the service was very nice.

A nice surprise in the old part of Varaždin town. Michelin recommendation (not yet a star but still !) that we are glad to have followed. Diverse and original menu using local ingredients. Very tasty plates from starter to desert ! Only downside was the relatively slow service (we waited a good 30-45 min between starter and main dish) which we believe is due to a large group occupying part of the restaurant. Otherwise friendly waitress and excellent value for money !

A nice restaurant located within Hotel Turist in Varazdin city centre. Not really clear at first cause we didn't notice any signs to let us know it was inside. We walked in without reservations to an empty restaurant on a weekday but didn't manage to get a table in advance on a saturday prior, so take that in account. The place itself is very nicely furnished albeit missing a bit of daylight and air being located in a dining hall in the hotel. The staff was very polite and unobtrusive. We went for a couple of veal dishes and beef soup. Waiter offered homemade buns instead of bread and we said yes, but never got them (they didn't charge them, but still, we were the only guests at the time). The food itself was very nice, even though a bit too salty for some reason and the salad looked a bit stale. We mentioned it to the staff and they appologized and offered a free desert, a nice gesture. The service and the general atmosphere were very good, the pricing reasonable, but as it came highly recommended we left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Would probably recommend it myself and visit again though.

Hidden gem in the city centre, not so easy to find but highly recommended! Food is really great, been here twice now. Parking is near by, in the street, you have to pay for it. Service is really good too. Basically if you want to have a good pizza or burger this is a place to go in Varazdin

The food was excellent, and I don't think I've ever seen cleaner or more equipped toilets anywhere! There's a playroom for kids and a changing station so, family friendly on all fronts. The food selection is varied and you can find something on the menu even if you need a veggie option (not sure about vegan though). All in all, a really lovely and nice experience.

A great place to have authentic, local dishes (comfort food at its best!). The food was really delicious and the service was great. It's a bit expensive but the portions were way more than enough for one person (consider splitting certain dishes or ask the waiters for an opinion). Don't miss ordering the Kneginec soup (Kneginečka juha) and split it with someone. :) The zlevanka was also amazing!

Very nice little restaurant in the centre of Varaždin. It was nice and sunny so we were on the terrace soaking the sun while waiting for the food. It was saturday and it was crowded so we wait for some time but it was worth it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food exceptional, we tried the burger and lungić and everything was great. We are coming back for sure

Best dining experience and meat in North Croatia! We had the fillet mignon and the picanha and both were delicious! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked evenly, and it just melted in our mouths. The side dishes were equally great (we had the fries and the vegetables). To finish an already amazing meal, we tried the crème brûlée and the choco sphere - both delicious and leaving us wanting more. My congrats to the chef and the whole crew. Will definitely return when I’m in the area.

The vibe felt like it was where the locals dine at on special occasions which was nice. The food was quite good but the waiter was quite dismissive and he actually took our half eaten plate of fish and potatoes before we even finished as if he wanted to hurry us up. So we ended up still quite hungry which was a shame because we quite enjoyed the dishes.

While visiting Zagreb, I did a short trip to Varaždin to visit the local attraction, the Sermage Palace. I arrived there at lunch time and found the restaurant through Google maps which was quite central and walking distance from the main local attraction. The food was great, portions where well served and the soup was all you can eat style. For the main dish, I had a delicious Lungić (pork) with some sort of croquette mashed potato and apple sauce. To drink I tried the local Pan beer. The staff was very friendly and service was surprisingly fast. Lastly the price was fair for what we asked.

We are generally satisfied – the restaurant is neither the best nor the worst, with a consistent choice of dishes, service, and quality. However, we have to point out that the pizzas often felt undercooked and too moist, which made the choice of meals less enjoyable. On one occasion, a certain ingredient was missing from the pizza. At the same time, prices have gone up while the service quality has gone down. I have found a dish I really enjoy – the Caesar salad, which I believe is the best in town and prepared with the highest quality. Still, the price doesn’t quite match what you actually get – it feels as if it were a dish that requires long preparation, while it’s “just” a salad. We have been regular guests for a long time, but it seems the overall quality has been declining.

Excellent food. Fresh, juicy and delicious. Stake in pepper and truffle sauce was beyond amazing. Due to inexperienced waiters service is not what you would expect. Terrace of the restaurant is placed in a beautiful city park, but a bit rigidy, so you feel a small earthquake every time a waiter walks by.
