This place was recommended by the company we charted a boat from in Trogir and did not disappoint. They brought out a tasty appetizer on the house. I had the lobster orzo and beet salad which was amazing. My husband had the duck and salad with pumpkin seeds. My friend got the white chocolate mousse which came out looking like a perfect pear! Great wine, cuisine and atmosphere.

Not bad but didn’t wow us on our visit in July 2025 - we went for the meat platter which wasn’t bad, just a bit too much of the same sort of thing for us, and way too much food we couldn’t finish - a rare thing for us!

We had dinner there last night and can HIGHLY recommend this local gem! It’s off the beaten path and nestled in the hills on an old farm with a perfect sea view from your table between the olive trees! We called in advance as we wanted to eat the Octopus Peka which requires 2 hours prep so if you want to try this then make sure to call ahead and trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed! We had Rocco as a waiter and he was an absolute star and gave us great recommendations and service!

The food looked significantly different from the photos shown in the menu, which we were later told is over three years old. The pepper sauce was very watery, although the meat itself was decent. Overall, the experience did not justify the price. There’s definitely room for improvement.

We stopped by this restaurant by chance. The service was equal to that of the best restaurant we have eaten in world wide. Mićo was our server and he was the right mix of attentive but not imposing. Chanced upon this fab cafe while visiting Trogir Croatia. The small restaurant is quaint, relaxing and unassuming but the swordfish it served was one of the freshest I have had, felt like the fish was just caught straight from the Adriatic see! Plus, the sourdough bread in a cute mini sac was firm and chewy, all washed down with a huge jug of draught house beer 🍺 YUM 😋Felt well fed & Thank you 🤗

Absolutely amazing seafood experience! We had an unforgettable dinner at this lovely seafood restaurant in Trogir. The food was simply perfect: the mussels were out of this world, the tuna steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and the pasta was honestly some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Tucked into the stone alleys of Trogir’s UNESCO-protected Old Town, Capo is what happens when tradition and the Adriatic meet over a charcoal flame. The setting is simple: weathered limestone walls, twinkling string lights, and the hum of the marina just a few steps away. It feels like eating inside a medieval postcard. The grilled squid here is, without exaggeration, the best I’ve had in my life. Butterflied and flame-charred to perfection, it’s got that soft spring that tells you it’s fresh from the sea - never rubbery, never overdone. The smoky char mingles with the squid’s natural brine, and the drizzle of olive oil and chopped parsley brings it all home. A squeeze of lemon over the plate and you’re somewhere between hunger and heaven. Add a cold local beer (Karlovačko or Ožujsko - doesn’t matter which, both hit right) and the world just slows down. The balance of smoke, salt, and malt makes it one of those meals that remind you why the Adriatic keeps pulling you back. Capo isn’t about pretense - it’s about perfection. The kind of simple, honest cooking that only comes from a chef who’s lived this food his whole life.

I’m a happy solo traveller. I understand why being solo might cause an issue for some restaurants, but Capo is fantastic: wonderful food and attentive, helpful service. Ended up coming here twice over my 5 nights in Trogir. Like many restaurants, it’s in a tiny alley in the medieval town. It is full of atmosphere. The wine was gorgeous. Loved it at Capo.

We went here based on reviews, and weren't disappointed at all. We ordered a fish plate for two, which was excellent. We asked if we could swap out the sea bass with another sea bream and this was no problem. The plate had no salty dry tuna steak, which, compared to some other places, is a big bonus point in favor of Poon Piat. The fish was very good and tasty. Price is reasonable.

The food here is some of the most delicious we’ve found in Okrug Gornji. The fish fillet with cauliflower was beautiful and the beef cheek was one of the best beef stews I’ve tasted. Sorry I didn’t capture the dish in all It’s beauty in the video, I was too busy tucking in! Hvala!

The location is great and perfectly located however this is not a good representation of the meal you get. My salmon tagliatelle was super salty and the salmon did not taste fresh at all. And one of my friends got charged for packet of ketchup. I was disappointed in my food greatly hence my unhappy review. But all the others enjoyed their meal namely the chicken so I would stick to that.

This is my first negative comment! First, the child was brought half in a bottle of sprite. Ok, sometimes they asked to be replaced. We ordered a meat plate for two, which costs 19 euros and when they brought us this portion for one, I started looking at the photos here on the maps - photos from other customers of this restaurant - they all had normal portions for two people. We thought that the waiter mixed up something and gave for one ... when we paid, the price for a plate was at full cost - 19 euros! To my remark that the photos from other customers differ from our portion, the waiter began to resent that I was wrong. OK. Let your other customers in this photo judge... they also ordered two pizzas, beer, dessert and coffee. Average taste ... We have been going to Croatia every year for 13 years, we have been in winter and summer - and we have never had such a case in restaurants!
