If I could give more than 5 stars I’d be happy to do so. We were lucky to find this gem (group of 4 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog) where we where greeted by Matthias, the restaurant manager. He was our server throughout the whole evening, really professional, ready to always answer all of our questions and with great knowledge of every little detail of the menu. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere so warm and welcoming.
Big thanks to the whole team. we will be definitely back 😊

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Konoba Bocun in Petrovija, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The restaurant’s ambiance is simply superb—a charming, rustic setting that radiates warmth and authenticity, perfect for a memorable evening out . The beautiful garden and terrace, with tables often placed directly on the grass, create an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and magical .
As for the food, it exceeds expectations. I wholeheartedly agree that the octopus in salad (“hobotnica v solati”) is superb—light, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Overall, the Mediterranean and Croatian cuisine here shines, whether it’s fresh seafood, perfectly cooked tuna, or antipasti selections    . Many guests rave about the quality and freshness of the dishes: from finely prepared ravioli and grilled fish to tuna tartare and seafood risotto .
The service is also a standout—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff’s genuine care adds to the overall dining pleasure, and many visitors feel spoiled by the high level of hospitality .
One of the greatest bonuses is the outstanding value for money, considering the excellent food, location, and attentive service  . I’d recommend making a reservation, especially on Saturdays, as the place fills up quickly .
