This is a true family-run gem, where everything feels warm, welcoming, and full of that “you’re part of the family” vibe. They serve only local, high-quality food, prepared with so much love that you can taste it in every bite. For us, nothing beats their perfectly grilled fresh local fish – it’s always our favorite, always fresh, and cooked to perfection. And then there’s the risotto, which is honestly the best in town and worth the trip on its own. We had an incredible dining experience at Bistro Beppo Cafe run by a wonderful husband and wife team who were incredibly accommodating and kind. We met up there with some vegan and vegetarian diving instructors from Croatia Divers, and the restaurant did an excellent job catering to all of our dietary needs, whether vegan, vegetarian, or neither. We enjoyed the Mediterranean platter, flaming fajitas, and the tacos—while European tacos are different from those in the US, they were still absolutely delicious, especially with the homemade salsa crema. We visited several times during our stay, and each meal was fantastic. The views from the patio are stunning, and the adorable little dog that greets you adds a charming touch to the atmosphere. Breakfast was also a highlight—delicious crepes and eggs cooked exactly to order, presented beautifully and bursting with color and flavor. We truly can’t recommend Bistro Beppo enough, and we look forward to returning the next time we’re in Vela Luka.

We have been here just before NYE 2025. There is two restaurants are open at this time in the town. The service is attentive , kind ,a quick. The food is ok,no complain ,a little twist is missing at the tastes. Pizza nice and the portion is enough. Crispy ,not Italian style but it’s fine. Prive value is average

Great spot for lunch or dinner – with a lovely view of the marina and just a few steps away from the famous mosaic. The waiter was especially friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Tasty food, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect location for a break while exploring the town. The only downside is the lack of private parking – you’ll need to use the paid public parking nearby. Still, it’s absolutely worth it for the view and the vibe!

Best Pizza in town. Fresh ingredients and good salads. Tastes very good. Friendly waiters. It is all women-driven. The only man is the scooter driving delivery guy ;-) You have to support this restaurant. Reservation recommended especially during high season.

SUCH a gem! This little, family-owned property is perched over the gorgeous Picena Bay. The brother/ sister duo who own and operate it are GOOD people. They have created something so special. From the hand-hewn stone walls to the gorgeous cabanas overlooking the water to the sprawling patio strewn with dining tables and cozy seating... the entire place is a masterpiece! We felt like we'd been invited into their home for dinner. Fresh caught fish, octopus salad, fish pate, vegetable soup...all made for us. There is no set menu, so feel free to articulate your meal and wine budget up front if that is a concern for you. Otherwise, be prepared to be wined and dined to your heart's content!

Great spot to have lunch or dinner. Suitable for date nights, time with friends or for a family meal. The service is friendly. We were greeted by the hostess at the front and seated right away. The waiter is very friendly and has a good sense of humor. The cocktails are great as you would expect from a restaurant that turns into a night club in the evening. The food is delicious. We very much enjoyed our meal and cocktails. The other patrons around us enjoyed their food as well (and it looked delicious, especially the french fries). I do recommend, especially if you are in a group that all wants to eat something different. They have pizza, pasta, seafood, and meat (something for everyone, including the kids). They made me a vegan pizza (the vegetarian pizza without cheese) and the toppings were fresh, it had some herbs on top with some very tasty olives. The olive oil is very tasty (as you would expect from the island). Overall we had a pleasant time and I do recommend. Please note that it is cash only, but there is a PBZ ATM right next to the restaurant if you don't have cash.

The staff is very friendly and attentive! They have all the smile on this planet,specialy the asian lady! The food was tastefull and enough . The service time is not long ,but we visited the Island at off season! The prices are high for the countryside of Croatia. One garlic bread , 2 main (fried squid + one tuna steak) one bottle of water and 2 glasses of white wine was over 80 euros. Croatia now is more expensive than italy sadly…

Been there twice this summer attended to by waiter Ivan.who makes the visit so much more enjoyable some of the other staff could smile and thank their patrons on the way out instead of standing there like stunned mullets only downfall. The waiter gave great recommendations & was attentive. The food was really, really good. We thought it would be simple food but it was actually gourmet. Very happy we choose to go here. It's summer & very busy so I think we waited about 45 mins for food which I think is normal for dinner when its high season at peak time but our drinks came quick everytime and we had a nice evening. Would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful cafe/bar near the ferry dock. The waitress and staff are incredibly nice and made us the most delicious coffee as we waited for our bus to Korčula. Our waitresses decided to surprise us with coffee with cute little bear faces. It made our day. The prices are extremely fair and lower than other places in Vela Luka.
