We came into Konoba Baća after a walk along the wall on a very chilly and rainy day. We were greeted with smiles and were sat right by the warm wood pellet stove in a cozy corner - right by the windows - where we could watch passersby and kitty cats saunter on. I ordered the fish soup - a lovely brothy soup with the freshest fish. We also indulged in the oysters - both fresh and grilled. So delicious! The grilled oysters were soaked in the most delectable garlic and olive oil. My husband ordered the truffle fries and wow were they good! Their bread is also very tasty - especially for a conduit for fresh olive oil dipping! Their lattes and cappuccinos are also very good! You will not be disappointed!!

This charming restaurant became our favourite during our 4 night stay in Ston. We’ve been travelling in Croatia for a couple of months and it is certain that the best mussels are served here. We tried the burger with truffle sauce and the best fries ever Another time a green risotto with shrimp. The waiters were all so helpful and generous to repeat customers. I like to see a staff that support each other so well and do the job so efficiently. I wish we were staying longer

Excellent food, very good portions. Servers were very attentive and gave great recommendations. Fresh oysters were plump and sweet. Recommend the black risotto, grilled scampi, grilled fish fillet. Great local wine list. One of the best meals in Croatia!

This was my second favorite restaurant in Croatia. We had the shrimp buzzara and black risotto. They were absolutely delicious. I loved our server, an older gentleman who was warm and hospitable. He strongly suggested the pasta dessert, but also gave us a thin slice of the fig orange cake which was my first choice. He was right, the pasta cake was delicious and better than the other one.

I went here with a group of 14, and our waitress seemed a little miffed and frazzled by such a large group. She ultimately did a good job, but didn’t look too happy when we arrived. The food was very good, though! I started off with fried oysters, and we had others in the group who ordered raw oysters. They were small, but delicious! My shrimp skewers with risotto was cooked perfectly. Overall, a wonderful meal!

This was my absolute favorite restaurant from a two week trip through Croatia. It was off the beaten path, and although still touristy overcame the plague of burgers and pizzas that plague the menus of most of the restaurants the tourist have access to . Lots of local families were eating here which is a great sign, and there were lots of celebrations going on meaning that it was good enough quality for the locals to enjoy it for special occasions. The food was wholesome and good with fresh ingredients and I’m sure the entire menu is delicious - except perhaps the local desert “pasta cake” which the young waitress tactfully described as something that “somebody might enjoy”.

Our captain took us here during our island hoping trip. Truly a hidden gem. Our captain is good friends with Niko the owner and his wife Magdalena. We got to know them both, and were treated exceptionally well. We sat down and we let Niko serve us anything he wanted which was a great choice. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was magical and the service was unmatched. Their son also helps in the restaurant and he definitely has a thing for hospitality, making us feel very welcome even indulging with us in conversation and a quick drink. This place is a must go.

I recently dined at Nikos, and I must say it was an incredible experience. My favorite dish was the baked oysters—absolutely divine! The octopus salad, fish, and prawns were also amazing, each dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. What really added to the experience is the convenience of the mooring, which is located directly in front of the restaurant. This made everything super convenient for those arriving by boat. To top it off, the mooring is equipped with electricity and water, making it an ideal spot to dock and enjoy a delicious meal without any hassle. Whether you're a local or visiting by boat, this restaurant is a must-visit!

Very bad food. We ordered the dish with different shells like oyster, mussels and clams and the chicken rolls with cheese and prosciutto. The shells were not very tasty, most of them were not cleaned, some smelled rotten and the overall impression was just not good. We didn't eat it all, because of this and left the restaurant still hungry. Then the chicken rolls. They were covered in A LOT of some weird white sauce which tasted like nothing. The chicken was super dry and looked like it was already waiting some time before getting served (and try to cover it up with the white sauce). The prosciutto and cheese made up a little bit for the tasteless and dry chicken and sauce. But even in the cheese where some dried up pieces. Then the little 'salad' that came with the chicken. Normally you get some lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, dressing, you name it. Nope, this was just a half leaf of lettuce and a half slice of tomato on top... Only good thing is that the waiter was friendly. But it also feels like he lures us in with his nice talking about the fresh oysters and fresh food...

The best is the genius loci and the manners of the owners. This is the tradition and spirit that is hard to find and experience these days and for me it was well worth the price. The cooked oysters were excellent and the fish and seafood delicious indeed. The unique taste of the dish is definitely a specialty of the house and very few places of the world can level that. .

Truly a hidden gem! Worth a detour if you are anywhere near Mali Ston. This family-run oyster and seafood restaurant is a must visit for a delicious, fresh-from-the sea to your plate meal paired with amazing Croatian wines. The owner is a wonderful host and learning about not only his family's history of oyster farming, but also oyster farming in general was so interesting. His family has farmed oysters here for hundreds of years. The meals include his mother's fresh baked, scrumptious focaccia and vegetables and fruits from the family garden. Oysters, mussels, and fish are caught the same day they are served. The restaurant is a restored old stone building and is beautifully decorated. Once you walk in the doors you know you are in for a special treat!

An unforgettable experience in Mali Ston Bay. This family-run oyster restaurant is a find. We were served by the owner, whose knowledge and passion for oyster farming, passed down through generations, made the experience even more special. His family has farmed oysters here for hundreds of years, and it was amazing to learn about their history as we enjoyed oysters fresh from the sea that morning, shucked in front of us. Every dish was prepared by his family, his mother’s focaccia was incredible, the vegetables were from her garden, and the fish was caught by the owner himself that day. The setting, in a beautifully restored building, felt like dining in a piece of their family story. He also thoughtfully recommended wine pairings for each course, local selections that perfectly complemented the flavours of the seafood. By far one of the most memorable meals we’ve ever had. I feel very lucky to be one of the first people to dine here. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to get harder to get a table in the future.

The restaurant is one big MASSACRE. Customers smoke in a restaurant and the staff doesn't care - well, you just can't sit out like that. They told the child that he would not get his order "because of too many orders" after 50 minutes of waiting and ensuring that he would. In my opinion, if you open a restaurant, you should be prepared for such situations.
