I had a pleasant overall experience. The staff stood out as exceptionally polite and professional, which really elevated the visit. I was here for a family party and we had a great time. The patio is calm and the food was really good. I put 4 stars because it was really really hot outside and the fans are not powerful enough and we all were really hot!

Extremely bad experience and weird model of presenting the food. It would be definitely the last time I will go to that restaurant. You need to order the meat alone which cost €15-€20 per dish then of course you have to add the sauce which you pay extra plus you order the side dish which you have to pay extra and you end up with very regular dish that cost you not less than €30. Meat Portion is ridiculously small compared to the price.

Stumbled on this restaurant when staying at the apartments next door. The food was absolutely amazing and well deserving of five stars, staff exceptionally friendly and spoke excellent english. Will come back should we ever be passing through next year

The best restaurant in Međimurje. Friendly staff, great food, cheap and affordable prices. Parking is unusual, though straightforward. I've never had an issue with finding parking space, though. They also have a wonderful little place with a giant fishing tank.

Stayed at Mamica October 20-23 this year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Room was clean and bed comfortable. We stayed in a room on the main floor and had a nice little outdoor porch to sit on. The hosts Zarko and his wife Sandra run the restaurant. Zarko the front and Sandra the kitchen. During our stay there chef Sandra entertained us with wonderful meals, most of them that originated from the local region. All food is made in house from locally sourced ingredients, just amazing. Cutest little place in the middle of Čakovec. We came here out of the blue, looking for a small snack, and BOY, were we pleasantly surprised. Superb food, beautiful place, charming personell who convinced us for a dessert after a very hearty meal. 10/10, will come here again.

I visited this place again after 3 years and all I can say is to avoid it. I ordered a classic burger with fries and without sauce. The meat was chevy and without any taste. Of course, they put sauce on it probably to mask the tasteless meat. For all of that they charged me 8 euros. AVOID!

I’m visiting from the States and honestly was craving a good cheeseburger. We went to Doner House and were taken care of by Jon. He was very nice, spoke in English to ensure I would feel included, and willing to accommodate my quirk of always asking for my burger sauce on the side. BJ, the chef, absolutely killed it with the seasoning and how the food was cooked. It was an awesome burger with fries and the environment was so chill as well as funky decor. Will definitely be coming back!

Last meal was stone cold, and the pizza that I ordered last time had no seasoning, and the one before had a topping missing. Do not recommend. Update: Revisited this restaurant 1 year later, ordered 2 burgers and 2 glasses of water for me and a friend. We waited around 45 minutes and they didn't even bring us the water we ordered. We ended up going home hungry and thirsty. I sadly cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, we were incredibly disappointed with this place.
