We rediscovered Konoba Jadruhi. By far the best restaurant in the entire region. All the servers are very friendly. The service is neither too fast nor too slow, just enough time to enjoy our aperitif. Plus, we can bring our four-legged friends who patiently wait under the table for us to go home. The menu is extensive. It's just missing one or two vegetarian options. But that's how it is in Istria. We highly recommend Jadruhi. Enjoy your meal!

I ate the best beefsteak with truffles in my life in this restaurant. Respect! Update May 2025: We drove with my Alfa Giulia all the way from Zagreb (250km) just to try the steak again, and it was definitely worth it! Nice road trip without Istra scenery, steak very thick, soft, melts in mouths. And tiramisu for desert! Highly recommend!

My wife and I visited Agroturizam Mekiši last Sunday and were absolutely delighted. Since we both love Istria, even the drive to Vižinada felt like something out of a movie. Once we were seated in the beautiful garden, our excitement only grew. The garden is set in the middle of an olive grove and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Istria – if not the most beautiful. The food was excellent. The fuži pasta with generous shavings of fresh summer truffles completely won us over. The cold platter was also very good, except for the prosciutto, which was the only weak point of the meal. For the main course, we had the Florentine steak, perfectly grilled to a juicy medium rare. For dessert, we shared a panna cotta with figs, which was simply outstanding. The whole experience was beautifully complemented by the excellent house Malvazija wine. We will definitely be coming back – especially since we also discovered a new winery, Deklić, just around the corner, which was unfortunatly.closed.

Top top top 🔝 authentic, homely, tasty, great menu - perfect balance between wide range and quality put into each and every dish. Truffle pasta was the best I've ever had. Goulash was 9/10 - - would order again. Not sure what 'pasta' goes with goulash by default, but I asked for gnocchi and received amazing gnocchi that they prepare themselves.

There were five of us, and we each ordered different meals. Everything, down to the last dish, was incredible. The ambiance was very pleasant, the waiter was kind and helpful, and you could really taste that all the dishes were made with high-quality, homemade ingredients. I would definitely recommend this place.

There is no written menu here—just a slow-paced, thoughtful progression of dishes that celebrate the land and the season. Everything is simple, delicious, and refreshingly transparent—no surprises at the checkout, only smiles of satisfaction. We had a wonderful dinner as a group of four adults and three children. The meal began with a generous platter of cold cuts—beautifully cured meats, a single local cheese, pickles, olives, freshly baked bread, and an extraordinary olive oil that captured the essence of Istria in every drop. For mains, we enjoyed two pasta dishes—pillowy gnocchi with rich goulash and silky fuži pasta with truffles. Each plate was perfectly balanced: rustic yet refined, full of depth yet rooted in simplicity. Dessert was the sweet finale—four different homemade treats that delighted everyone at the table. All of this, accompanied by both red and white house wines, came to under €200 for the seven of us. In today’s world, that kind of value for such quality feels almost miraculous. The setting itself adds to the charm—beautiful in its simplicity, with an atmosphere that feels warm, unpretentious, and truly authentic. It is a lovely, quiet place with tasty food and cheerful staff. You can enjoy real homemade dishes and even buy veggies and fruits during season. Olive oil and wine too. It’s relaxed, with a beautiful view, a bit slow service but nothing that will drive you nuts. Tho, not to be surprised on the prices, ask for some sort of menu, cause they don’t give you any. And it’s not cheap. It is not super expensive either but it would be fair to know the prices when ordering.

These are awesome guys. We had delicious food from their garden and wine, vinegar and oil from their own vineyard. From Kaštelir it's about 10-15 minutes by car to the beach of Červar-porat, where you can relax and swim in clear blue water.
