Don’t eat here for the second time. The first time if u are a new guest they will serve u good portions and when u come back for the second time u get half the food. I got 2 shrimps per boa bun the first time and second time only 1 shrimp and they forgot parts of your order. So i do not advice you to eat herr

Hidden gem alert! This newly opened restaurant has great prices for the amount and the quality of the food. Spent around 25€ each (3 people) while getting appetisers and a main course. Super friendly staff too!

i really enjoyed at this restaurant. fish was super fresh, very good recommendation pasta w truffle super heavy more than a side dish but also very good! calamari was amazing, lightly fried, and squid was soft salad was so unique and tasted delicious . Although i didnt like the risotto, rice was a bit hard and flavour wasn't that nice. in general, we loved the food though, and staff was also super helpful and kind!

We only tried the restaurant, but it was beyond words. We were so glad to choose this one to have lunch. We tried soups and second courses, best calamari I've ever eaten. The portios are great we couldn't taste the desserts so we have to come back. All in all, excellent food with kind, helpful service, recommend it to everyone. Pizzeria Napoli is an average pizzeria in Labin. As in many restaurants in Labin, the pizza dough is very good. However, the toppings were not very tasty. Nevertheless, overall it was a good pizza. I personally had the pasta with chicken and sage and must say that I was disappointed with the portion size. Unfortunately, the taste was also disappointing and it seemed as if the pasta had been pre-cooked on a large scale and stored in a rather unimaginative way. At least that's how it tasted. As in other restaurants, I don't understand why burgers have to be on the menu. They don't fit in with the culinary ambience. All in all, this restaurant is still good, especially with its great service.

This is, without a doubt, the best pizza I've ever had. The dough is light and perfectly charred, and the toppings are incredibly fresh. The prosciutto and burrata pizza was sublime! Amazing food and fantastic service. This is a must-visit for any pizza lover. Five stars!

We came here as recommended by the local olive oil maker and we were not disappointed. The view was spectacular and so was the food. We had octopus salad as a cold starter - followed by grilled squids, shrimps, and truffle gnocchi for the entree. Everything was excellent. The seafood was fresh. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice time.

Short version: delicious food, generous portions and about 20€ per person, friendly staff, atmosphere could be better but mostly because of the weather! Long version: shrimp risotto and gnocchi with truffles were both delicious, we then had water and a very generous glass of wine, we paid 43€ in total. We wanted to sit on the terrace, they said we could only sit on the patio next to the entrance, viewing the street instead of the panorama. It was windy and with sporadic rain showers and the sunshade would barely cover us

Pleasant surprise after walking through a pattiserie to get to a restaurant! We went with a recommendation from a waiter that obviously knows the place and his job , bravo! Food was excellent and ambient was perfect. One thing I will especially remember about it is two types of olive oil that we had with meals, those are some of best I have ever tried and it's where Istria really excells!

Right at the entrance to the local market hall, there's a small "fish stall" with three tables, and in the mornings (only until 12:30 p.m.), you can get fresh fish, depending on the catch. It's brought in by the fishmonger next door, prepared, and served immediately, with a glass of wine if you like. Ideal for fortifying yourself before or after the market. Quaint—with friendly service, it's still quite authentic and hasn't been "upgraded" for tourists.

I’ve read in local newspapers that this is the best pizza in Istria, and although I haven’t come even close to trying all of Istrian pizzas (yet), this pizza lives up to the hype. We had a pizza Napolitana and burrata with prosciutto. Both were delicious. But while the toppings were truly yummy, what blew my mind was the dough — light and fluffy and beyond delectable. Pleasant atmosphere on a terrace with a gorgeous view, and helpful, pleasant service were a welcome bonus to an already lovely experience.

Was recommended this place by Sasa after the free walking tour at Pula. Amazing pizza. Had the house special Pistachio pesto pizza. I was unsure of the ingredients combination but somehow it works and was fantastic! But note that this flavour is not tomato based. Service was great - we shared a pizza and they served in 2 separate plates for us. And as mentioned in many other reviews, the view was amazing.

The food is not worth the price we paid. We ordered beef with cheese and grilled vegetables but the grilled vegetables are not really grilled. The only really tasty thing was the cheese. The rest quite salty and that is it. The quality of beef was questionable. The highlight was the fresh orange juice which was really a water with a drop of orange. Really disappointing would not recommend.

Very good, we recommend. Pay with card or cash, nice place with outside tables in shadow, very comfortable even during hot day. Waiter speaking English (2023), another not speaking English in 2024. Pizza very good. Prices are ok. Though you will wait a bit. Free parking and entrance is from back of the building.

Superb food for the price. Quick and pleasant service. We had the mixed meat plate for 2 and the kids had pizzas. Very generous portions and cooked to perfection. A must visit when you're in Labin and not limited to eating in the old town. Plenty of parking direct in front of the restaurant too.

Here’s a blunt and scathing review you can post — no sugar-coating, just like you asked: ⸻ ★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Horrible – Stay Away We’ve had some incredible meals throughout Croatia, but Šterna in Labin was by far the worst experience we’ve had. The food was bland, overcooked, and completely uninspired. You’re honestly better off cooking at home — even instant noodles would’ve been an improvement. Everything we ordered was disappointing. It felt like the kitchen gave up before they even started. Zero flavor, poor presentation, and not even remotely worth the price. We left hungry and annoyed. If you’re thinking of eating here, do yourself a favor and don’t. Save your money, your time, and your stomach — this place is a hard pass.

Order labin steak, that need to be with cheese and ham, so nothing good, they served old bread 🍞. My suggestion avoided it, and prices are very high for this service and food that is simply not good, you don't even get salat, side dish is extra.
