The setting is simple: weathered limestone walls, twinkling string lights, and the hum of the marina just a few steps away. It feels like eating inside a medieval postcard. The grilled squid here is, without exaggeration, the best I’ve had in my life. Butterflied and flame-charred to perfection, it’s got that soft spring that tells you it’s fresh from the sea - never rubbery, never overdone. The smoky char mingles with the squid’s natural brine, and the drizzle of olive oil and chopped parsley brings it all home. A squeeze of lemon over the plate and you’re somewhere between hunger and heaven. Add a cold local beer (Karlovačko or Ožujsko - doesn’t matter which, both hit right) and the world just slows down. I’m a happy solo traveller. I understand why being solo might cause an issue for some restaurants, but Capo is fantastic: wonderful food and attentive, helpful service. Ended up coming here twice over my 5 nights in Trogir. Like many restaurants, it’s in a tiny alley in the medieval town. It is full of atmosphere. The wine was gorgeous. Loved it at Capo.

If you're looking for a break from Mediterranean cuisine and fancy an honest to God, amazing burger, this is the place for you. While the burgers, with the patty cooked over a flame grill, are the standout of the restaurant, the bruschetta and steak tartare are also great. The fried mix platter I'd suggest avoiding unless you really want a generic plate of assorted forms of deep fried cheese. Very lively and the venue demands wearing cowboy boots and hat if you can procure them.

Before visiting Trogir we were looking for a nice restaurant, I don't think we could find a better place. Starting with good and nicely different atmosphere, through helpful service, ending with awesome food. My mother wasn't really hungry so she ordered bruschetta with shrimps 🍤. Spices was just on spot, and all the taste was well balanced. On the other hand my father ordered a burger 🍔. He couldn't choose better. Meat was slightly red inside but cooked outside so it was juicy. It was probably the best burger he ever had. For myself I got basic nuggets with french fries 🍟. It was good and I think it is the best option for kids. All experience was awesome and worth the price. We will definitely come back.

This place was recommended by the company we charted a boat from in Trogir and did not disappoint. They brought out a tasty appetizer on the house. I had the lobster orzo and beet salad which was amazing. My husband had the duck and salad with pumpkin seeds. My friend got the white chocolate mousse which came out looking like a perfect pear! Great wine, cuisine and atmosphere.

Understood! Here’s a revised review for the new We were looking for a great seafood BBQ spot and found it on Sunday. The restaurant had a rustic, authentic vibe that really enhanced the experience. We enjoyed grilled dentex, goatfish, sole, and squid—each dish was incredibly delicious and arrived quickly. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

We got recommended this place from a local taxi boat, so our expectations were high. It was nice but not awesome. My brother ordered 500g shrimp/scampi and got 4 unpeeled Norway lobsters. He did not get full but they were tasty. My hubby and dad split 1kg fish (on pictures) it was the best tasting of our dishes, but they didn't get quite full either. The view was nice and they had a cute kitten.

Sat down to a big, fat, juicy burger and it was every bit as good as it looked. The patty was thick and cooked to perfection — tender, smoky, and dripping with flavor. Fresh toppings, a soft but sturdy bun, and all the right sauces made it the kind of burger you don’t want to end. The service made the experience even better. Staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure everything was spot-on without hovering. No seating but we sat across the road on a bench overlooking beautiful mountain scenery - the whole atmosphere made it easy to just sit back and enjoy. All in all, a top-notch burger and genuinely great service — I’ll definitely be coming back.

Not bad but didn’t wow us on our visit in July 2025 - we went for the meat platter which wasn’t bad, just a bit too much of the same sort of thing for us, and way too much food we couldn’t finish - a rare thing for us!

Absolutely amazing seafood experience! We had an unforgettable dinner at this lovely seafood restaurant in Trogir. The food was simply perfect: the mussels were out of this world, the tuna steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and the pasta was honestly some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We had dinner there last night and can HIGHLY recommend this local gem! It’s off the beaten path and nestled in the hills on an old farm with a perfect sea view from your table between the olive trees! We called in advance as we wanted to eat the Octopus Peka which requires 2 hours prep so if you want to try this then make sure to call ahead and trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed! We had Rocco as a waiter and he was an absolute star and gave us great recommendations and service!

Chanced upon this fab cafe while visiting Trogir Croatia. The small restaurant is quaint, relaxing and unassuming but the swordfish it served was one of the freshest I have had, felt like the fish was just caught straight from the Adriatic see! Plus, the sourdough bread in a cute mini sac was firm and chewy, all washed down with a huge jug of draught house beer 🍺 YUM 😋Felt well fed & Thank you 🤗

The fish was fresh but the potatoes with spinach were definitely a day or two old. Which meant that the next day we didn't eat here. I hope the management will realise that you lose more by serving people old food (normal service and breakfast) than if you would give the old food to staff or people in need. As it doesn't make people want to come back and you do need people to come back, due to the location. (Not on the promenade or within the city centre) So overall it's a mixture of good and bad with both the quality of the food, as well as the service. Hope they improve. I would love to come back and eat only fresh food. 😊 I really like the quiet, it's not as big as other places and people don't come just for drinks. The only other issue is that in Croatia people can smoke while you eat. 😂 But this is a problem everywhere, not just at this location.

We went here based on reviews, and weren't disappointed at all. We ordered a fish plate for two, which was excellent. We asked if we could swap out the sea bass with another sea bream and this was no problem. The plate had no salty dry tuna steak, which, compared to some other places, is a big bonus point in favor of Poon Piat. The fish was very good and tasty. Price is reasonable.

So far, I've only tried a few types of pizza and they were all very tasty. Their taste is reminiscent of those made by Italian masters. Also, if you like to experiment and try something new, it's worth trying those that you won't typically find on offer. Guanciale is one of them, the melon flavor is particularly interesting

We went on a trip to trogir with my family and I found few restaurants on google. From them they chose this one, so we went there, and it was an amazing decision. I was in italy for 2 times but I have never eaten such a delicious pizza. I ordered pizza called ,mortadella’ and it was literally heaven in my mouth. My mum had got pizza with shrimps and I didn’t try it but she said it’s good as well. My dad ordered sea bass and it was slightly undercooked, but he didn’t ate just a small part of it and fed the cats with it, but he said the rest was fine. I totally recommend this place, the decor was great and the waitress was very nice to us. You should definitely come here for the pizza

One of my favourite meals during a trip to Croatia. The location is beautiful, as the building. The waiter with a moustache is so enthuastic and knowledgeable about the wine, his positivity is infectious! Their hotpot is stunning - full of the freshest fish including lobster. Highly recommended!
