Tucked into the stone alleys of Trogir’s UNESCO-protected Old Town, Capo is what happens when tradition and the Adriatic meet over a charcoal flame. The setting is simple: weathered limestone walls, twinkling string lights, and the hum of the marina just a few steps away. It feels like eating inside a medieval postcard. The grilled squid here is, without exaggeration, the best I’ve had in my life. Butterflied and flame-charred to perfection, it’s got that soft spring that tells you it’s fresh from the sea - never rubbery, never overdone. The smoky char mingles with the squid’s natural brine, and the drizzle of olive oil and chopped parsley brings it all home. A squeeze of lemon over the plate and you’re somewhere between hunger and heaven. Add a cold local beer (Karlovačko or Ožujsko - doesn’t matter which, both hit right) and the world just slows down. The balance of smoke, salt, and malt makes it one of those meals that remind you why the Adriatic keeps pulling you back. Capo isn’t about pretense - it’s about perfection. The kind of simple, honest cooking that only comes from a chef who’s lived this food his whole life.

I’m a happy solo traveller. I understand why being solo might cause an issue for some restaurants, but Capo is fantastic: wonderful food and attentive, helpful service. Ended up coming here twice over my 5 nights in Trogir. Like many restaurants, it’s in a tiny alley in the medieval town. It is full of atmosphere. The wine was gorgeous. Loved it at Capo.

A lovely restaurant to eat in a picturesque fishing village, especially after a day on the beach there. I had a really good burger with fries and a nice pint of PAN. It was nice to be able to sit out the front, it’s raised, so you have a bit of a view out over the harbour and the stunning mountain backdrop. We literally went straight in off the beach, which we don’t normally do On holiday. No need to dress smart, but on holiday it’s just what us Brits do after a day by the pool or at the beach. We didn’t feel out of place.

Awesome place to eat and enjoy the view of the see . I would trully recommend eating the meat plate, It will not only allow you to fill stomatches of four People but also to try tasty regional food. Another magnificent dish that you must try is shrimp salad. The only thing I can say to end this opinion is "Enjoy your meal"

If you're looking for a break from Mediterranean cuisine and fancy an honest to God, amazing burger, this is the place for you. While the burgers, with the patty cooked over a flame grill, are the standout of the restaurant, the bruschetta and steak tartare are also great. The fried mix platter I'd suggest avoiding unless you really want a generic plate of assorted forms of deep fried cheese. Very lively and the venue demands wearing cowboy boots and hat if you can procure them.

Before visiting Trogir we were looking for a nice restaurant, I don't think we could find a better place. Starting with good and nicely different atmosphere, through helpful service, ending with awesome food. My mother wasn't really hungry so she ordered bruschetta with shrimps 🍤. Spices was just on spot, and all the taste was well balanced. On the other hand my father ordered a burger 🍔. He couldn't choose better. Meat was slightly red inside but cooked outside so it was juicy. It was probably the best burger he ever had. For myself I got basic nuggets with french fries 🍟. It was good and I think it is the best option for kids. All experience was awesome and worth the price. We will definitely come back.

We were from Hungary. First time we didn't get nothing from this place, we waited then rather went away. Second time we went there we got seat but we waited too long to he asked what we drink. Then we got our drinks and then almost immediately got the bill too. Like why? And we looked around, nobody got bill. One, then another girl came after us, they immediately got service and no bill. 1 star because otherwise I can't comment. And maybe 1 star because the drinks were good. But they didn't know what lemonade is (just like the whole country). We won't go back again, but it's okay, we can spend our money somewhere else too.

This place was recommended by the company we charted a boat from in Trogir and did not disappoint. They brought out a tasty appetizer on the house. I had the lobster orzo and beet salad which was amazing. My husband had the duck and salad with pumpkin seeds. My friend got the white chocolate mousse which came out looking like a perfect pear! Great wine, cuisine and atmosphere.

We stopped to have dinner at Konoba Kastilac. This was our last night in Croatia and I have been sick for the past 4 days with a bad cold. Nothing has been tasting right and nothing sounded good as we walked past several restaurants. The hostess standing next to the menu sign was so sweet and nice that we decided to give this place a try. The view was also breathtaking and added to the peaceful atmosphere. To my wonderful surprise, they had chicken soup on the menu. It was the best chicken soup since I’ve had in a long time. It brought me right back to my childhood and the soups my family made on the farm. I knew it was going to be great as soon as I saw the broth glistening with bright little fat circles. The broth was exactly what i needed. I would have eaten a whole pot if I could. My husband had pasta, which he enjoyed as well, but we both agreed that the soup was delicious! The service was excellent. Even though I was not well, this place made us very happy for our last night there.

This is a restoran with pride in what they do. The location is probably the best in all of Kaštela, all the way down by the waterfront. I've eaten there 3 times. First and second was mix grill. And that was really good. Everything tasted fresh and tasy. They had some sausage on the platter and that was just insane. Prices are resonable. First time i ate alone and paid 27euro for mix grill, 2 x 0.5L beers and a 1L bottle of carbonated water. 3rd time we had a mixed seafood serving, where everything was grilled and we where surprised. Even when the bill came, 76 euro we didn't bother much. The food was truly great, we had alcohol with the food and palećinka for dessert and the atmosphere is awesome.

We walked all of Kaštel seafront before returning to this restaurant; a great choice. A really friendly, attentive waitress Evana, recommended the menu of the day off the board: the veal was beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. The cod stew was oozing flavours. We loved both. At only 70 Kuna each, we were delighted. Highly recommended.

Nice terrace location by the water.  Excellent, attentive and friendly service. We both had the Goulash which was really very good.  Plenty of tender meat and went perfectly with the garlic and cheese bread which again was very tasty.  Lovely comfort food. House white very drinkable and available in 1/2 carafe nice cold Large beer. Excellent value at €36.20. Certainly recommend.

Delicious pizza with a perfect crispy crust and amazing toppings. I really liked that you can customize your pizza by adding extra toppings. We were a group of seven, all had food and drinks, and even ordered an extra round. The total bill came to just 113€. A special shout-out to our waitress, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! Lovely smart restaurant with friendly polite waiters. Most important is the food which was also great. We both got pizzas and they were amazing. Big with doughy puffy edges and cooked to perfection. Plenty of lovely fresh toppings and the nicest tasting tomato sauce I've had on a pizza. They let me have a glass of tap water with my pizza (which in Croatia half the time places don't allow giving tap water!) and they have nice clean toilets. And they take credit card. We didn't finish one of the pizzas and they happily gave us a small box to take the rest back to our accommodation. We heated it in the microwave later in the day and it was nearly as good as when it was first served (the sign of a good pizza dough!) Prices are good for the sizes of the pizza and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food looked significantly different from the photos shown in the menu, which we were later told is over three years old. The pepper sauce was very watery, although the meat itself was decent. Overall, the experience did not justify the price. There’s definitely room for improvement.

We stopped by this restaurant by chance. The service was equal to that of the best restaurant we have eaten in world wide. Mićo was our server and he was the right mix of attentive but not imposing. The food was fantastic. Especially the fish. Great cosy, relaxing atmosphere. We definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. We got in touch to reserve a table via email as we were a group of 11. Fab entertainment for the kids at the back of the restaurant where locals played boules.
