This place was quite nice. Food was both delicious (lacking salt a but hey, i can always add some salt and pepper) and beautifully served. Staff was also very friendly and chill which i prefer over the strictly professional ones. I do believe one should surely visit them when they come in Zadar just for fun

We stumbled across this restaurant while walking along the prominade after visiting the sea organs. It looked really nice from across the harbour all lit up in red lighting so we made our way around. We were shown to the bar by a nice tall gentleman who was very courteous. We intended to have just one drink and leave but the bar staff were so friendly we spent a good portion of our night there sampling all the different cocktails. The bartender Lea was extremely friendly and welcoming, she explained to us the menu and what she had created her self. She even made me something unique that was not on the menu. The other Bartender Theo was really chatty and invited us back but unfortunately this was our last night in Zadar. We didnt eat, but the drinks and service were absolutely top tier.

So many options to choose from in old town in Zadar and I am sure many of them would be great as well . This place stood out for the variety of their menu, the friendliness of their staff and the location as it literally overlooked a very ancient building. The prices are reasonable considering the fact you are in a historic location. The food was amazing. The gnocchi was done just right and the portion size pretty good. You will not go wrong with this place and the service is polite, attentive and hospitable.

Bueno Trattoria Zadar is a cozy and elegant spot with top-notch food and warm, attentive service from Ardi. Sea bream main with vegetables and Risotto main were fabulously tasty. Wine recommended by Ardi was superb. Beautiful relaxed place. Definitely worth a try. Well done Ardi.

A nice cosy place with a lot of LEDs, feels like a hip pub but nice people and great food. The sh**k fillet as it said in the main was good but I am not sure if it was that :D The portions are small so better to order snacks upfront, presentation was great indeed. We didn’t have to reserve as it was off season but it filled up quickly. No blankets if you sit outside and are cold.

Everything is incredible here. The pizza is divine, and the other warm dishes are also incredible. Breakfast was delicious as well. The eggs Benedict inspiring and the fruit salad was heavenly. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great restaurant, I would recommend it. The food was great, the place beautiful, and the atmosphere very pleasant. One note: while we were still eating our appetizer, the waiter already arrived with our firsts and left them on the table, so we felt a bit rushed to finish the appetizer. This was not a major issue, just a bit unusual. Overall everything went great :)

Our second visit, nothing too much trouble for Darko our server this visit. Food once again was amazing. Our first we had the trio bruschetta and the 'Malo Misto' steak platter for two, we took what we didn't eat home with us, the baked potatoes were delicious along with the meat. Tonight we just had to pay another visit. We again ordered the bruschetta to share, My husband ordered the grilled fish duo, I ordered one of the house specialities 'dalmatian gregada al forno' oh my it was absolutely divine. Followed by Lava cake, don't be put off that it takes 20 minutes to arrive it was well worth the wait!! For the food and drinks we had very reasonable price. Once again thank you to Darko for his wonderful service.

Food here is fairly simple type food but quite nice in taste. Staff speak English and are polite and attentive. One very good thing is that it’s a no smoking restaurant! Nice setting either outside or indoors with wisteria vines over a trellis.

I had the waitress with the black and red hair. She was great and came by quickly during our stay. The chevapi were great with the kajmak. Very pleasant combination. The atmosphere was amazing with the gentle sea breeze coming from the coast further down and the garden itself also being very enjoyable to be in. No fake plants in sight!! All in all everything was great.

We saw that this was one of the more talked about restaurants in Zadar and glad we stopped by. The food was simple and good, nothing fancy. I enjoyed my pasta and the fried seafood was not too fried which is a plus. Service was quick and good. I really enjoyed the outdoor area, especially on a cooler evening. Would recommend if you’re looking for a spot to dine in the area.

Great traditional food options, usually pretty full so try to book a table in advance. More on the expensive side, but you get authentic dishes and the staff is very professional and polite. In the heart of the city. BBQ ribs were also great, but make sure to try some Croatian / Dalmatian traditional dishes of your choice. We paid €75 for three people with 2 appetizers and 3 mains with water and coke, which is definitely on the more expensive side. But if you value professional service, great location and good authentic food it's worth it. Nice and quiet, easy to hold a conversation. Really small, but clean bathroom.

We had an amazing dinner here! The waiter was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible, all four dishes my family and I ordered were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. To finish, we had the Basque cheesecake, which was one of the best I’ve ever tried (if not the best!). Everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Stopped for a quick lunch. It’s rare that I don’t have to season a restaurant dish, but these dishes were perfection! I had the hot appetizer of hand rolled pasta with veal ragout and truffles. Husband had the 4 cheese gnocchi. We couldn’t stop eating! Service was also exceptional. Highly recommend this place!

We ate at the Kolonada restaurant twice during our stay in Zadar, and enjoyed both visits. The wait staff could not have been more attentive or friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the Caesar salad with crispy chicken on the first night, and the burger and fries on the next visit. Both were very tasty with generous portions. I would recommend the restaurant for it's atmosphere also, it's a very pleasant environment in which to enjoy a tasty meal.

What a hidden gem! We ordered the fish/seafood platter for two. Before our meal came out, our server brought us some tuna pate/ salad and anchovies with red onion. I do NOT like tuna pate, but my husband encouraged me to try it. I tried a tiny bit on bread and really liked it! Then, they brought out our seafood platter. Oh my goodness! It was delicious…prawns, mussels, tuna, sea bass, calamari and Swiss chard with potatoes. Everything was delicious. Once again, I do NOT like fish. However, my husband encouraged me to try it. I honestly can’t believe that I liked it! We highly recommend you don’t miss this place for lunch or dinner!

We came to Ugljan after work on the day of national holiday ( Oluja) not all restaurants are open then, so we chose by chance. The quality of food is excellent! Pljeskavica and crni rižot were absolutely fantastic! The food is worth its price. We were served professionally. The free starter is delicious too. The cats there are so cute 😍

Delicious food and drinks at a very affordable price point. The entrance is located a few metres away from the road next to some yet to be developed old houses. The view on those from the patio is the reason the ambience does not receive a perfect score. Kitchen and service were outstanding though. A few minutes away from the old town you get a delicious pasticiada and great cocktails for fair prices. The opposite of a tourist trap. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would have returned had it not been our last night in Zadar.

It was a last minute decision, and I hesitated because I thought for sure this would be a tourist trap. I’m so glad we ate here! This was one of our best meals in Zadar! Everything was delicious! The seabass and the truffle pasta are incredible. Highly recommend!

We had meat and fish meal sets. The soups/broths were beef and fish which were made of fresh ingredients, so they were rich in original taste. The main dishes were presentable, even it was a set meal. Fish was fresh but the pork was a bit tough. Surprise came from dessert which was raspberry lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream. Foods were not pre-cooked, so the set meal was really good for value. The ambience was also good with pleasant music playing.
