Great food with a homemade taste. Everything on the menu is superb, but my favourite was the baked chicken and mlinci. Lovely outdoor seating with the grape vines creating a deep natural shade. The staff are very nice. Worth a detour, and you can enjoy the beautiful green hills and other scenery as you drive.

Restaurant was recommended to us by a local lady (when asked where can we eat local dishes). The ambient is really cozy and relaxing, styled in a "old village domestic style"... it even had a cat strolling around the place and visiting customers to grab a few moments of cuddling... Food was really excellent and portiones were almost too big ( I can eat a lot since I'm over 100 kg and almost 190 cm). If you are searching for a great place to eat local food, don't look further:-) Parking is just across the street, for maybe 10 cars...

Excellent food for an excellent price! We got our food within 2 minutes, exactly what we asked for. The grill and boiled potatoes were excellent. It's an understatement to say that we were surprised by the price - 6.50€ for a fork, we paid 18€ in total.

What a sad experience. Such a nice historical castle, even very good service. But the food is of disappointing quality. Potatoes raw, meat hard, štrukle instead of savoury appetiser were sweet. They should hire a real chef or cook. And please, do take off the curtains. The valley view is really very nice, why having those outdated terrible heavy curtains on the windows? The restaurant is to be avoided.

I came in for a lunch on a Sunday. I ordered barbecued cevapi, potatoes and cabbage salad. The food was very good. Nothing to complain about. This meal costed around 20 euros, which is fine. Since the restaurant was empty the service was fast. But the waitresses acted like she would rather be anywhere else than here. Because of that this was the second time in my life I didn't leave a tip.

The location is absolutely beautiful, both in summer and in winter when everything is covered in snow. The food is delicious, and a must-try is anything from the baker’s stove AKA ‘krušne peći’, as well as the braised beef cheeks with wine sauce and gnocchi—both are outstanding. To finish your meal, you have to try the pumpkin seel oil ice cream and the pancakes with walnuts and wine chateau. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable, which makes the whole experience even better.

I was in the restaurant. I am originally Zagorka and i know what good mlinci and purica and strukli are. I really don’t get all the negative comments. The service was polite, dishes came fast. All was very tasty and I met the owner and her husband. Very normal people. We will come back.

Pleasant ambiance, modern interior design, and delicious food. Kebab pizza is an absolute recommendation! 😁 Besides, I often get a burrito with fries. They also have a specialty kebabs in dough which are excellent.

We were there during a weekday in the evening, a quiet snowy night. Not many customers but the flow of customers was regular. There was space for parking, inside was a bit chilli at first, but what can you expect when the outside temperature is sub zero. The pizzas were delicious and cheap. Never have i encountered this mix of meat in the pizza. Beer also cheap, comparing to Zagreb prices. We were cautiously warned by a nice lady waiter that big pizzas are really big, they are enough for 2 people. So we reconsidered and ordered small ones - it was a good choice. Small pizza is 2 lenghts of my mobile, around 32 cm. And we got them on a wooden round tray and we got a pizza utensil with a good important characteristic - a new sharp knife. We got the pizzas pretty fast and the drinks faster.
