Anytime I visit Zagreb, I like to frequent Stari Kotac. The food is absolutely delicious. The cevapcici are the juiciest and tastiest than all other restaurants I tried, especially the cheese enriched ones. For this review I took take-out and it was still great. If you're in Zagreb, you have to check it out!

It was our first time here after we watched and read many reviews on this restaurant. Our expectations were very big. Food was ok. I can not say it was amazing or something special. We enjoyed it but can't say I would come here again because of the food. The interior was great. Very cosy and I loved it. Staff was very polite and nice. And now the prices. Prices are very correct and ok. Not too expensive. I would even say normal prices for the food we ordered.

Delicious food! Amazing! Best for mixed grill, but also fried calamari are very good and the portions are big. The fries are one of the best, and the lepinja bread goes very well with the food. The place is very busy during lunch time, so it is advised to have a reservation!

Came here with some friends on New Year’s Eve to have lunch. Place was almost empty but this is understandable due to this specific date. Waiters are really fast, nice and friendly, and will recomend food and drinks if you ask them to. We have also received food incredibly fast, including the meat plate for two. Also really good wine selection if you feel like it. Definitely goes on my favorites list

Wow! Recommended by the Harley shop next door and so glad we went! The atmosphere was classy chic, and the food was excellent. I had the ravioli, and hubby had the smoked burger. Both were wonderfully prepared and presented. Highly recommend!

For Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant, attracted by the beautifully decorated space and numerous sponsored posts on social media. The ambiance is really pleasant - the evening was accompanied by jazz music, the atmosphere was intimate and private, which created a nice atmosphere for a special occasion. Unfortunately, the impression of the food did not match the good ambiance. There were set menus on offer (fish, meat (and we opted for fish. The final bill was €160, which was an additional disappointment considering the quality. The appetizer had a very neutral taste, without spices, with rather large pieces of cuttlefish that were difficult to enjoy. The main course – swordfish – was dry and without a pronounced taste, served with a few pieces of carrot, without the impression of a rounded or well-thought-out combination. The dessert seemed like a store-bought cake, without the special taste or final impression that you would expect for an evening like this. Given the price and the impression created through the promotion, expectations were significantly higher. The space is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the quality of the food, at least in our case, did not justify the price. I am writing this review to give a realistic picture of the experience, because I believe that with this kind of marketing it is important for guests to know what to expect.

We ordered pizza diavola, pesto genovese and prosciutto. We really liked them, pizza dough was weak cooked and tasty, pizzas were flavored. We definitely come back here!

We came on a busy Saturday afternoon without a reservation and were kindly and promptly offered a place in the closed terrace area. The service was great, the food perfect, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is extremely pleasant! Do not worry if you notice a full parking lot in front of the restaurant, some 20 m ahead along the road and then on the right they have another huge parking lot! Looking forward to come back again.

Tried this restaurant recently. Food was tasty, portions were big, and they've got a kids' room, which is cool. Service was quick, but folks smoking on the terrace was a downer. There was no free non-smoking table inside the restaurant, which was a bit of a downside. Overall, it wasn't bad.

Nice traditional Sarajevo (Bosnian) grill restaurant. Very tasty ćevapćići and other grill specialities just as it should be, ambience is so calm and atmosphere pleasant, big urban garden is in front. Entire place is very clean and employees are very nice.

We manage to celebrate our valentines at Yumi since were both have duty at 12noon and it’s really fantastic the ambiance and atmosphere, the food is 10/10 excellent and really tasty. One of the most unique and decorated Batak restaraunt in my opinion. Staff was welcoming, kind and seated us fast. Food came out quick and we had a great time. The meat was also great and the desserts too! Prices are excellent in comparison of the quality. Only one small resentment I have is that the Beef tartare could have been a little bit more seasoned. All in all, recommended.

The gourmet pljeskavica was excellent, but the kajmak was terrible. It's also a bit disappointing that the patty is served on its own and everything else is charged extra, but never mind. All in all, it was okay. Also, the staff is friendly and the workers are all local, from Croatia, rather than from India or Pakistan, which is a sign that the food is safe and hygiene standards are high.

We came to eat just before our flight back to Holland. Our waiter was extremely friendly, the food was FREAKING amazing!! They even had a singer and someone playing the guitar. We had the rolled chicken and the pasta with truffle. We got a small drink from the house as well. We didnt had the time for a dessert since we had a plane to catch, but if we did we definatelly had the desserts as well.

After our flight to Croatia, we decided to have lunch, and it was delicious! The ćevapi were absolutely fantastic, perfectly complemented by the tender and fluffy kajmak and ajvar.
